About Me


Well... Where do I start?! I'm currently living with my boyfriend of 5 years in Cornwall, and have just finished my Photography degree. I'm loving living 10 mins from the nearest beach and not having the hecticity of a city, just the nice laid-back and chilled atmosphere... Well, until I start my MA next year and i'm gonna be the busiest I've ever been! ARGH!

My Interests

Contemporary Art Photography (amongst most other genres), music (and lots of it), cartoons, tropical fish, walking, going to the beach, chillin with friends, playing the piano etc etc etc

I'd like to meet:

Zach Braff, John C. McGinley, Sarah Chalke (actually, pretty much all the people from Scrubs), Tony Jaa, Rodney Mullin, Kevin Smith, Bill Bailey, Sean Lock, Ray Mears, Nick Brandt, Sarah Moon, Mark Raven and probably many more that I cant think of right now...

Music:

drum&bass (the dirtier the better), dub, dance, reggae, trip-hop, rock/alternative, punk, ska, classical, ambient, chill-out, acoustic, old-skool, contemporary jazz and trad-jazz and pretty much anything I can lay my hands on, except for R&B, UK garage or crap pop/dance (there are some exceptions of course!)... you get the picture...

Movies:

Snatch, Freddy Got Fingered, Ong Bak, Tom Yum Goong, Chopper, Magnolia, Cheech and Chong: Up in Smoke, Layer Cake, SouthWest9, The Usual Suspects ("The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist"), Higher Learning, Clerks 1&2, Mallrats ("Snoochie Bootchies!"), Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Bugsy Malone, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Labyrinth, all Monty Python films, Tank Girl, and so on.

Television:

The Sopranos, The 4400, American Dad, Family Guy, The Simpsons, Futurama, Scrubs, Happy Tree Friends, Angry Beavers, Invader Zim, QI, Black Books, 15 Storeys High, Spaced, all Ray Mears survival programmes, Monty Python's Flying Circus...

Books:

Dont really get time to read anymore, but just whatever i find really, done the whole Dan Brown thing, The Diary of an Ordinary Woman (Margaret Forster), My Soul To Keep (Tananarive Due), and lots of comics- Lenore, Johnny the Homicidal Maniac etc, and even more photography (pictures and theory) books!
