Casablanca

Rock 'N Roll fans take note. You can now add Casablanca to the growing list of KISS-worshipping, AC/DC-ripping, Jagger-swaggering bands who wear their 70's influences on their tattered denim sleeves. So, what then makes Casablanca any different from their peers? Well, for one- they are alot more than their stereotype may dictate. Unlike many bands cut from the same cloth, Casablanca does what comes naturally. Their style may be basic, straight-up Rock 'N Roll, but their authenticity is undeniable. This is not a band trying to sound classic. As their moniker indicates, this is simply a band that embodies timelessness. Plainly stated, Casablanca is the real deal.
Coming from as far away as Detroit, Boston, and Buenos Aires, the four members of Casablanca relocated to Los Angeles each with the common goal of forming the quintessential Rock 'N Roll band. Surely the infamous City Of Angels located in the country that founded the Blues would be the best and easiest place to create such a band, right? This would prove to be more difficult than one might imagine. Not deterred, Michael (vocals/guitars), Ariel (guitars/vocals), Marcos (bass), and Jason (drums) each stayed the course, never settling, and eventually were led to one another in 2006.
