I am originally from Long Island, NY. My dad retired & decided to move his 100% IRISH family down to the "sunshine state" (can anyone say skin cancer?). I grew up in Palm Bay. After changing my major twice I ended up here at Florida State (GO NOLES!!!). I was the only room mate that wanted to get the hell out of this town after graduating. Ironically enough, I'm the only one still living here. I found a job where I really like the people (ok, MOST of the people) I work with. Not a lot of people can say that. So here I am, 5 years later. Although, my friends & family back in Palm Bay try to get me to move back every chance they get. Not going to happen yet, I bought a house here that I LOVE! Also, the kids are comfortable here...I have the 3 best dogs a person could wish for, Ransom, my pitbull, & Baxter, my Yellow lab/golden retriever, & the newest member of the "Shea family- Tallahassee branch", Marley (AKA Puddin' Head).
