Ghost In Toner

About Me

The ghost formed in 2003, when old school friends, Mark, Nathan and Alex posted an ad for a singer/guitarist up at uni. James did not go to uni, but had a friend who did. He passed on the details to James, who rang up for an audiotion, and the rest is history. Many gigs soon followed in venues such as, the exchange, crown and ancor, world'd end, the terrotorian, the gov, the duke of york, rhino room to name a few.In 2004, Ghost in Toner recored their first ep, "a time to disappear" with www.dstproductions.com.au 'Old man me' made it into the most played 21 songs of the week on 93.7 (adelaide radio)It's been a rocky couple of years for the ghost, and it doesn't look like that will stop. In early 2005, Nathan, went on a two month trip round asia. Following his return, James went on a 9 month working holiday in London, while travelling europe and whilst away, Alex moved to Queensland. Upon James's return, a number of new songs were made and 3 gigs were performed as a three piece. Just as things were falling into place for the ghost, Nathan and Mark have decided to follow James's lead and go on a working holiday in London whilst travelling europe. Who knows how long they will go for, but this site will keep you up to date with their travels.James will be working hard whilst they are away to create some new songs and will post the demo's on this site. So stayed tuned, the Ghost is here to stay!
