About Me

"Love is what we are born with. Fear is what we learn. The spiritual journey is the unlearning of fear and prejudices and the acceptance of love back in our hearts. Love is the essential reality and our purpose on earth. To be consciously aware of it, to experience love in ourselves and others, is the meaning of life. Meaning does not lie in things. Meaning lies in us." Marianne Williamson View my LinkedIn profile here:

When you are in that place in you, and I am in that place in me then we are one.""Never apologize for showing feeling. When you do so, you apologize for truth." - Benjamin DisraeliHi! Practice Random Acts of KindnessI'm excited to say that I recently enrolled in school again, to complete my degree. It's the Holistic Health program through the American Institute of Holistic Theology. I'm very excited about it. Please send me good energy, thoughts and prayers!
I'm a Midwestern, land-locked girl - but love the sea! - blessed, happy for the most part, actively re-creating myself, always on a quest to learn new things, a mom, a partner, a friend, an armchair traveler, a reader, a bit ecentric, spiritual, an interfaith believer, funloving, compassionate, romantic, creative, freespirited, open minded, usually think too much, kind, communicative, overall a regular human being! I'm a little political, and am all for changing the current administration. However, I respect your views and opinions. My interests include: acceptance & tolerance, peace, organics (food, products, and making the world a better, greener place.) I love humanity, people of all sizes, shapes, colors, and personalities - and enjoy making new friends. I'm a huge animal lover as well and have three dogs...a rescued Greyhound, a rescued poodle/cocker mix and a Papillon. My family and friends are the BEST and I am so thankful for them!!! I have the two most wonderful kids. My daughter has a great head on her shoulders and is bright, beautiful and successful. She has more energy than I can even believe and both works and goes to school full time. My son is talented and creative and writes wonderful music and lyrics. He's a great drummer and guitarist and brings laughter to my life. They're the best! I am now the owner of my own wireless store - CHEETAH WIRELESS in Godfrey, Illinois. Yea! It's a brand-new start-up, featuring HELIO, and DRIVE MOBILE. I'm selling T-Mobile on my website: www.cheetah-wireless.com

I love you as certain dark things are to be loved, in secret, between the shadow and the soul.I love you as the plant that never blooms but carries in itself the light of hidden flowers; thanks to your love a certain solid fragrance, risen from the earth, lives darkly in my body.I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you straightforwardly, without complexities or pride; so I love you because I know no other waythat this: where I does not exist, nor you, so close that your hand on my chest is my hand, so close that your eyes close as I fall asleep.

Heroes:

My heroes are people who remain true to their authentic selves, those who are compassionate and filled with lovingkindness, and people who give their hearts to help others. I honor those in serving professions, caretakers -especially of children, elderly, animals and nature - as well as those who put their lives on the line for the rest of us. Everyday people can be heroes, and often are. I HOPE YOU CAN HEAR THE BELL Just up the road from my home is a field with two horses in it. From a distance, each looks like every other horse. But if you stop your car or are walking by, you will notice something quite amazing.Looking into the eyes of one horse will disclose that he is blind. His owner has chosen not to have him put down, but has made a good home for him. This alone is amazing. If nearby and listening, you will hear the sound of a bell. Looking around for the source of the sound, you will see that it comes from the smaller horse in the field.Attached to her halter is a small bell. It lets her blind friend know where she is, so he can follow her. As you stand and watch these two friends, you'll see how she is always checking on him, and that he will listen for her bell and then slowly walk to where she is, trusting that she will not lead him astray. When she returns to the shelter of the barn each evening, she stops occasionally and looks back, making sure her friend isn't too far behind to hear the bell. Like the owners of these two horses, God does not throw us away just because we are not perfect or because we have problems or challenges. God watches over us and even brings others into our lives to help us when we are in need. Sometimes we are the blind horse being guided by the little ringing bell of those who God places in our lives. Other times we are the guide horse, helping others see.Good friends are like this. You don't always see them, but you know they are always there. Please listen for my bell and I'll listen for yours. - Author UnknownFREEDOM OF RELIGION MEANS for ALL RELIGIONS!
