Kedrick Hirschy

Psalm 146:2 “I will praise the Lord all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.”Fall 2003, Kedrick completed the solo project entitled, “Steady On”. The musical style of this CD is contemporary but with selections that appeal to all ages. Since the release of “Steady On”, Kedrick has been performing numerous concerts at churches and various events.While in high school, Kedrick first began to realize his passion for singing, and sensed God’s encouragement to explore some type of music ministry. Since that time many doors have opened, allowing him to use and expand his musical gift.Kedrick began his musical ministry with his older cousin, Ryan Hirschy (www.ryanhirschy.com). Ryan and Kedrick performed together for almost two years and completed a CD project. This CD included a wide variety of musical styles such as classical, worship, and contemporary Christian. They performed for many churches in Western Ohio, Central Indiana, and Northern Indiana.During the summer of 2004, Kedrick accepted a job as interim Worship Pastor at the Decatur Church of God. He enjoys leading worship, and continued this position while completing his junior and senior years at Taylor University in Upland, Indiana. He also was a 4 year letterman for the Taylor University football team.Kedrick has recently created a non-profit music ministry entitled, Kedrick Hirschy Ministries, Inc. His hope for this ministry is that it will touch others for Christ through the gift of song and the truth of God’s word.Kedrick is a gifted artist who wishes to share his talent with Churches across America. By working closely with church and community leaders at each location, he is able to present concerts that work well with each congregation. Through constant and open communication with Ministers and Pastors, they will know what to expect from Kedrick’s ministry.
