MyHotComments / HotFreeLayoutsI like to read, and I looooove music from all genres. I like to laugh, but I can be serious at times. I enjoy good conversation. I like to talk to people about anything from politics (although that discussion often gets heated and sometimes I will avoid it)to the bible... and anything in between. I like to speak the truth, but I've often found that people don't like it when u do so I'm learning to shut up and keep my thoughts to myself... AND believe me that's a hard lesson to learn! People usually have the wrong perception of me in the beginning but then realize I'm not what they assumed. I try my best to be nice to everyone, but occasionally ... God is definitely working on me and blessing me everyday! Thank you, God!
There's sooo many people I would like to meet. The first would definitely be Jesus. I know someday I will see him. (If I live according to His Word)I guess anyone after him would not be able to measure, but if I had to pick someone in present times I would have to say Maya Angelou, Eric Jerome Dickey, Hilary Clinton, Anthony Hamilton, Joel Osteen, Joyce Meyer, Ludacris, Oprah Winfrey, my maternal grandmother, Spike Lee, and Morgan Freeman.
My favorites are Beyonce, Anthony Hamilton, Stevie Wonder, Pharrell, TI, Jay-Z, Outkast, UGK, Eightball and MJG, Alicia Keys, and Keith Sweat... and anything OL' SCHOOL!
My favorite movies are House Party (the first one LOL!) and Coming to America,The Color Purple, and Road to Perdition. I also love You So Crazy (that's not really a movie), CB4, There's Something About Mary, You've Got Mail, and anything with Sidney Poitier and Bill Cosby as a team.
My favorite television shows are Grey's Anatomy, America's Next Top Model, Law and Order: SVU, Emeril Live, almost any HGTV show, Spongebob Squarepants, and old reruns of The Golden Girls and Sex and the City. Recently I've started watching Frasier and My Wife and Kids.
I don't have any favorite books (that I can remember), but the last book I read was "The Interruption of Everything" by Terry McMillan and "Your Best Life Now" by Joel Osteen. I also try to read my Bible everyday
My mother is my hero. She is the strongest woman I know (of course!).. but there are some other women that have also inspired me to strive for greatness. They treat me as I was their own...anytime I need advice or need to shed a tear they listen to me, they comfort me, and they keep it real with me... Ms. Cammack and Ms. Langford and most recently Ms. Williams "LO" LOL!
