J. Sintoni was born in Cesena (Italy) in 1974. Guitar player and singer with a solid blues-rock background started to play guitar in the early ’90 and approached to the blues ever since. In the late 1998 moved to Pistoia, the town which lodges the most important blues festival in Italy, and had the chance to meet and play with a lot of blues players. In the late 2000 founded “J.Sintoni & Blues Tribe”, and for almost two years played hundreds of gigs growing as a performer and guitarist. In 2001 played at the Pistoia Blues Festival headlined by John Mayall, Jeff Beck, John Hammond and Popa Chubby. In 2002 the experience with the Blues Tribe were at an end and J.Sintoni founded the acoustic blues duo BEER SOAKED GITTARS with fellow and guitar player Mr.Banana and a promo cd recorded by BSG entered the playlists of many radio stations in Germany, France, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Argentina. In 2003 J.Sintoni came back on the stage of the Pistoia Blues Festival with BSG as opening act for Jethro Tull. In 2004 he returned on electric guitar and in 2007 released his first blues-rock album solo “The red suit” with all original songs. With the album “The red suit” J.Sintoni entered the playlists of the most important blues radio stations on the international circuit and received very good reviews as well from different countries,appearing in the Top 50 blues albums on the Roots Music Reports in 2007. In USA on Electric Blues Radio the album is receiving monthly since July 2007 about 2000 playings and the title track reached in August 2008 the 8th position. Recently J.Sintoni opened for John Hammond,Popa Chubby,played with Grayson Capps,Ponty Bone,Kasey Lansdale and many other different great musicians. J.Sintoni nasce a Cesena 34 anni fa. Chitarrista e cantante dalla solida e decennale formazione blues rock inizia a suonare nei primi anni ‘90. Si trasferisce a Pistoia nel ‘98 ed entra presto in contatto con la scena musicale toscana. Nel 2000 fonda la band “J.Sintoni & BluesTribe” ed inizia un’intensa attivita’ live ed avra' così modo di suonare e dividere il palco con tantissimi importanti musicisti della scena blues. Nel 2001 arriva la partecipazione al “Pistoia Blues Festival” accanto a nomi quali John Mayall,Jeff Beck, John Hammond e Popa Chubby. Nello stesso periodo collabora poi con la Chicago Blue Revue, è special guest al Chianti Blues Festival, suona col chitarrista di Memphis Jared Booty. Dà poi vita al duo acustico Beer Soaked Gittars insieme al chitarrista Mr.Banana ed in Europa ed USA il cd omonimo riscuotera’ ottimi consensi così come le esibizioni live che culmineranno con la partecipazione nel 2003 al Pistoia Blues Festival”come opening-act per i Jethro Tull. Nel 2004 torna al rock-blues in formazione elettrica ed inizia a scrivere nuovi brani,nel 2006 entra in studio e registra “THE RED SUIT”, uscito ad Aprile 2007. Con l’album “The Red Suit”, J.Sintoni e’ in pochi mesi entrato nelle playlists delle più importanti trasmissioni radiofoniche internazionali di blues,nelle quali il suo nome compare ormai regolarmente al fianco di artisti quali Joe Bonamassa,Bernard Allison,Chris Duarte o mostri sacri come Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton e Johnny Winter. Su Electric Blues Radio,tra le piu’ importanti radio americane online, ”The Red Suit” è stato in Luglio ed Agosto 2007 disco del mese ed è entrato nella classifica della Roots Music Reports dei 50 album di blues più ascoltati negli USA. Ed anche le recenti esibizioni,tra le quali quelle come supporter per John Hammond e Popa Chubby,hanno riscosso un unanime consenso di pubblico e critica. Recentemente ha partecipato al Piacenza Blues Festival suonando,tra gli altri,con Grayson Capps,Ponty Bone e Kasey Lansdale. Da oltre un’anno i brani del Cd “The red suit” ricevono piu’ di duemila passaggi mensili nella prestigiosa Electric Blues Radio,la cui classifica ha visto in Agosto 2008 la title track "The red suit" all' 8° posto,e recensioni entusiaste sono arrivate da ogni parte del mondo. Tom Branson di BluesRockers ha scritto: “...alla nostra ricerca nel trovare i migliori artisti blues e rockblues aggiungete per favore un nuovo artista davvero impressionante: J.Sintoni! J.Sintoni e' uno di quegli artisti completi che troviamo a fatica.E' un chitarrista di classe mondiale,un cantante molto capace e un'eccellente compositore che sicuramente e' destinato a prendere il suo posto tra i migliori artisti del genere..” Un traguardo importante per un’artista italiano che suona blues e che ha autoprodotto e scritto di proprio pugno un’album che vuol essere un’onesta testimonianza di quel che e’ stata per lui la musica negli ultimi dieci anni.
