I´m a barbadian descendant born in Germany and raised on both British and American military bases.
With this multicultural background and influences from bands like the Sugar Hill Gang and movies like Wild Style I chose for myself a professional dance career, gradually molding the spirit of the producer I became later.
In 1994-95 I signed with Peppermint Jam Records releasing tunes like Mine & Dirty Beat with my friend and Co-Producer Mousse T.
With no time limit set I`m constantly evolving in my project studio with as little pressure as possible.
The name Nodcouch is an attempt to shoehorn different styles.
Some of my friends say I you need to focus on one style.
Is this really part of growing up musically ??
Well if so, I guess I´ll always be that stubborn kid from around the block.
I love dancing to this and that, obviously depending on the mood I`m in.
It feels the same way when I spin as A Dj or sit down to program a new track.
Don´t be confused finding many styles in my music player.
Its just the Djay the Dancer and the inner child doing what they love...Music !!
