Mission Statement: Mother’s Hands is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing selfless love and service to the community
Mother’s Hands is a volunteer initiative of the Mata Amritanandamayi Center in Atlanta, Georgia that is committed to serving the community through acts of kindness and compassion. In this purpose, it partners with progressive non-profits throughout Metro Atlanta. Mother’s Hands has seven major programs that it offers the community and volunteers: Mother’s Kitchen, Mother’s Garden, Mother’s Touch, Mother Cares, Mother’s Mentors, Mother’s Teachers, and Mother’s Day 2007.
Our inspiration is Amma- 'The Hugging Saint'. She has inspired and started innumerable humanitarian services. She has earned international recognition for her outstanding contributions to the world community. She is recognized as an extraordinary spiritual leader by the United Nations and by the people all over the world.
