About Me

Jason Streatfeild is an eco-friendly interior designer and furniture manufacturer living and working in beautiful Santa Barbara, California. In 2005, at the age of 25, Jason first developed his creative and innovative “green” collection of soft-good furniture. This collection was launched at the premiere of Who Killed the Electric Car? at the Los Angeles Film Festival in Westwood, California. Streatfeild is now nationally recognized for his groundbreaking designs and has been featured on HGTV.Streatfeild began his design career at age 21 while working for a well known home décor retailer with over 70 stores nationwide. He was very successful and became the youngest top-level manager in the company’s history. Jason broke nearly every sales record! He was then recruited as a designer and regional manager for a Los Angeles retail and design firm where he doubled, then tripled the sales records just before pioneering a new concept and way of manufacturing traditionally made furniture.Streatfeild, by using eco-friendly materials exclusively, is credited with leading the industry with socially responsible and innovative manufacturing techniques. Large scale furniture manufacturers have been quick to follow his example.Streatfeild sold his first company, RC Green, Inc., and then founded Go Green, Inc. establishing a company culture focused on protecting the environment for future generations to come. He has become a primary sponsor for Earth Day® Santa Barbara.Streatfeild’s clientele includes Hollywood celebs, music moguls, and wealthy executives. His handsome and innovative furniture can be found in some of the most impressive estates in Los Angles, Montecito, Santa Barbara and many other magnificent homes across the country.Today Mr. Streatfeild remains as busy as ever creating stunning interior and exterior environments for his personal clients. He also works with retailers who implement his collection online and in their stores.Jason enjoys living at the beach in Santa Barbara, drawing inspiration from his family: his fiancée, Cheryl, and joyfully anticipated daughter, Sterling Elizabeth.COMPANY BIO: GO GREEN, INC., - Jason StreatfeildAt Go Green, Inc., SOCIAL AWARENESS AND CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY are inherent in the design and production of every product. In an attempt to minimize unnecessary cuts of timber, Go Green, Inc. uses as joinery a combination of bamboo, alder and maple - all species known for quicker re-growth and strength. Each piece is carefully framed with mortise and tenon joints, dovetailing and lap joints, combined with slow-drying water-based glue to create strong, unbreakable bonds for furniture that lasts a lifetime with the lowest impact on the environment.Jason Streatfeild Eco Fabric:Go Green, Inc., is proud to offer a large selection of beautiful organic cottons, linens and hemps in wonderful solids, patterns and weaves that are hand selected from local sources. The growing and manufacturing of organic fabrics is a regulated process that uses no pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, or fragrances. As a result of this all-natural approach, your product will help in creating a healthier, sustainable environment for you and your family and also helps to support the organic farming community. When natural fabrics are combined with man-made products, we use 100% recycled materials, which means less waste going to landfills, reduced demand for petroleum products, and a reduced environmental impact from producing petroleum based products such as polyester. Samples are available to help you choose the perfect fabric for your new furniture.Jason Streatfeild Eco Springs:We use only re-cycled steel screws and springs in the manufacturing of our luxurious 8-way hand-tied and S-spring systems. Each spring is hand-tied with organic hemp twine, securing the spring system in place, guaranteeing a comfortable and even ride for the life of the product, with little or no impact on the environment.Jason Streatfeild Eco Cushions:Go Green, Inc., selects only the finest natural materials to create smooth and comfortable furniture for you and your family. No unnecessary and harmful chemicals are used. Natural materials used in our frames and in our cushions eliminate the need for excessive flame retardants and other additives than can cause upper respiratory ailments.
