Lady Kikiyou was and still is a legendary miko (priestess) in the past she loved too play with the children in her spare time while her sister Kadei was playing in the field while she was gathering flowers a hanyou (half demon) named Inyashio spotted her from the high-cliff that's when love was at first site.While Kikiyou was minding her own business in the flower field while the children are at play. Inyashio approached Kikiyou and they've started talking when they have fell in love they sat in the boat together smiling happily.Then one day Naraku had disguised as Inyashio like he did with Inuyasha and slashed Kikiyou's heart open and told her he'll never become a human for her.Kikiyou was devastated and shocked of Inyashio's actions after Inyashio took the shikon no tama (shikon jewel shard) from her so Kikiyou weakly followed him and then shot the arrow at Inyashio too a tree. This all happened 50 years ago after what happened with Kikyo and Inuyasha.50 years later Kikiyou was resserected with clay dirt and grave yard soil from a strange women she searched for Inyashio the one whom she thought killed her.She finally found Inyashio who was rescued by Aurora her reincarnation. She had a feeling Aurora and Inyashio would end up falling in love so she lost hope although she knows Inyashio would still go after her since Inyashio and Aurora haven't even admit their love yet.
