Guitar's on Fire

About Me

Hello my name is Tracy Dean Hughes . I got my first guitar @ 5 years old and got started playing seriously @ 10. My grandfather played guitar so did my dad( a little ). You might say music runs in the family. I stated playing bass with my parents in their gospel group. After my grandfather passed away, I began singing and playing guitar with them. While in school I performed in many school talent shows , I even won one. I was also in the High School Band ( the drum line ) and the ( Rock Ensemble ). After High School I formed my own band, IROTICI , then TASIA then we were no more. Back then I was into Heavy Metal . It was not until after I got divorced that I got into country, classic rock and R&B . I had been out to see some friends play and they got me up to play with them , I have been hooked ever since. That night was the start of my career in music. For the last 16 years or so I have played nearly every friday and saturday night somewhere from Alabama to Ohio. I had a band with my brother (Kevin Hughes ) along with ( James Kohn & Gerald Lovell ) we were called The DeVilles Band. Later Me , Don Rickard and BeBop Evans shortened the name to just " DeVille " we played around the Muscle Shoals area. I've played with many countless other musicians Tommy Patterson, James Roy are just two of my favorites.
