I'd like to meet:
(ONLY) Other dj's that are out there trying new things no matter what part of the World they get to do it in, I love seeing what's popular in different areas. Of course I wanna meet DJ's that are really from Chicago (Not the fakes claiming to be) so I can keep up to date with hot new House music since I'm living outside of Chicago now. I would also like to network with other Professional bodyguards from around the country!
Music:
"HOUSE"! I tolerate all forms of music but I'm partial to "House"... House was disco made by amateurs. It was disco's essence - its rythms, its basslines, its spirit - recreated on machines that were as close to toys as they were to musical instruments, by kids who were more clubbers than they were musicians. The DJ, aiming to preserve a music which had been declared dead, had created another from its ashes. And in Chicago this new music even shared the name of its forebear, because remember, the disco that Ron and Frankie played was called 'house' even before house was. I like some of the new House but a lot of it lacks the essence of that "JACK YO BODY" House of old:(
Movies:
Scarface is my hands down favorite, I've watched it countless times. Anything Wesley Snipes or Denzel Washington. I'm an Action Movie Fanatic! I love movie night with my Family.
Television:
Not much time for T.V, No time for watching other folks living their dreams when I got my own dreams to accomplish.
Books:
Custom car Magazines along with Other Music related magazines, The Bible & The Power of A Praying Husband, a book my Wife gave me as a gift a few years ago. I'm also writing my own book based on my experience in the fitness industry due to be finish in 2008!
Heroes:
God! My Wife for having the guts to kick off a new Woman's clothing line, "BeeFLY" and always supporting me! Frankie Knuckles! Steve Hurley! I'll never forget the reel to reel. The late "Eddie Kendricks", We discussed him singing on one of my tracks & he passed before we got the chance...R.I.P; The Original Hot Mix Five! Farley! Where are you? I'm a huge fan! Big Chick!
