Back In 1983 I was only 16 and even before then, Me and my little crew was spinnin, We were the little snot nose fellas that were too young to get in a club, but we did all the house parties and high school dances, We even made it through a few ones that were shot up. I was a freshman and tyree was in 12th, he introduced me and kevin to this world and we used to tape all the hot mix crew from WBMX and WGCI. that was our dream to be there with the fellas, as my mixin got better and my name was starting to be known, I had to leave chicago, the gangs on the south side was too much for me, I wouldnt join. It got really bad. eventhough we were young and depended on older guys to get our mixes into the bigger parties we still made it to the shop on saturdays and get new records.
