Los Grak

It's best to not annoy me.

About Me

There's not much to know about me. Then again, if there was I probably wouldn't share it except to personal friends.
Los Grak, obviously, isn't my real name. But I'm not telling you what it is.
I'm an avid video game player, and that's what I'll talk about most here.
I don't talk about politics or religion. Suffice it to say that I'm not happy with the current state of either at the moment.
I'm happily married with one kid - a son.

My Interests

Video games, movies, music, video games, my lawn, my wife, my cats, video games.......did I mention video games?

I'd like to meet:

I don't know really. Working in the business I do, I've already met quite a few people. Alice Cooper, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Chris Jericho, Undertaker....Ok, so I've met a bunch of wrestlers and an icon of rock.
There's a few people I would like to meet though: Alanis Morissette (so hot!), Hulk Hogan (my childhood idol), Mick Foley (the reason I started watching wrestling again seven years ago), John Cusack (the greatest actor ever), Morgan Webb of XPlay fame (so hot, and I only recently discovered her!). Hmm, I guess I did know who I wanted to meet. .

Music:

I'm finding myself listening to more and more electronica music. It's a phase I went through about seven years ago and it looks like it's coming around again. Still, I have my favorites: Silversun Pickups, Scott Weiland, and a few others.

I've recently started listening to local HD radio station, Double X. There's a lot of good music on there that you normally wouldn't hear on the radio. Unfortunately, I don't actually own an HD radio, so I just listen to the web stream. But on the web stream they don't say who it is they're playing or the name of the song. It's kind of frustrating when you hear a song you like, but have no idea who's doing it.

Movies:

Like I said, I'm a big John Cusack fan. I make it a point to see every movie I hear he's in. Grosse Point Blank is one of my favorites. I love the extreme sarcasm of his characters.Mystery Science Theater 3000 DVDs should be in everyone's collection, as well as all Monty Python movies.

Television:

I'm spending a lot of time with the Discovery Channel and other, similar channels.I also watch X-Play on G4.That's pretty much it.

Books:

I never was really much of a book reader, but I did sneak a few in during my high school years. I mostly read fantasy books. Dragonlance and a few Forgotten Realms novels are in my small collection.
I'm probably one of the last ten people in the country that hasn't read The Davinci Code. I probably never will.

Heroes:

Can't say much here. None that I can think of at this stage in my life.

My Blog

The quest for light.

Don't get me wrong.  I'm all for dynamic lighting in video games.  Lighting in games, just like in real life, helps to set the mood.  Want to make that survival horror game even more sc...

A simple "no" would suffice.

I've sent my resume out to no less than six different employers in the last two months, and not a single one of them has called/emailed back. Seriously, the least these places could do is let me know ...

Twelve Long Years

So, I decided to go and look for people on Myspace that I went to school/graduated with.  There were about 16 pages of people that I don't remember, with the exception of maybe 10 of them. I feel...

So this is what it's come to...

Presidential candidates using Myspace to spread their messages....  What will they think of next?

My resume is depressing.

That is all.

The Tuesday Night Message Blitz

So, in the last 10 minutes I've received six friend requests and two messages, all from "women" who want me to see their "hot pix."  I can't tell you how much this annoys me. I'm no idiot.  ...

I may be kicked from Myspace

In case you haven't noticed, every now and then you get friend requests from people who just want you to visit their site and show you their pictures.  In the industry, we call them Cam Whores. W...

The Internet is for Anonymity

The greatest thing about the Internet doesn't necessarily have anything to do with the naked body (but who doesn't like pr0n, huh?).  Here, you have the ability to do and say anything you want wi...
