Kobayashi is a producer/songwriter/engineer who has worked in the commercial music industry for nearly 10 years. His overall creative savvy, technical knowledge, endless musical influences and tireless work ethic have allowed him to break the traditional view of a music producer and stretch his talents across multiple genres including Pop, Hip-Hop, R&B, and Electronica.
Throughout his career, he has had the opportunity to produce tracks for a number of artists, including 2008 Grammy nominees Raheem DeVaughn and Bun B of UGK, as well as Capitol Records recording artist MIMS, whos' Kobayashi-produced album cut "Doctor Doctor" was widely regarded as the album's best song, based on numerous reviews of MIMS' album. In addition, he has helped ressurect the career of veteran NY rapper Grafh (who was a key writer for Foxy Brown's latest album on Black Hand/Koch) and launch the career of pop artist Monica Rustgi, who's Kobayashi-produced demo helped her recently sign a deal with the Cory Rooney Music Group.
Presently, Kobayashi is working with Monica Rustgi on her debut album, Shalone (who's single "Sexy Body" is currently on rotation on Hot 97 and received over 544,000 Myspace plays), Grafh (who will be releasing an album this year via Black Hand/Koch) and Joshua Alvarado, an R&B singer who was recently signed to Sony. Kobayashi also owns and operates www.interimaudio.com, a website that provides backing audio for various entertainment mediums including webpages, film and television.
