About Me

my folks taught me how to play the guitar when i was about sixteen. i never really was any good at it. but i fiddled around and tried to play pop songs i was hearing on the radio (as long as they only required the knowledge of three or four chords.) by the time i was twenty two i'd learned a bit more and expanded my repertoire a bit. then some jackass went and broke my heart, and i guess that's where the floodgates just opened wide. i've been writing sad bastard girlie tunes ever since. usually i play alone, but i anticipate a reunion with my good friend bonnie montgomery and our honky tonk band, the turkey mountian congregation. i also have the opportunity to play, on occasion, with my amazingly talented sister amy mcbryde(who sings with me here on "dark hollow"). it's a family affair. I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
