Yes, believe it or not I'm mostly Irish. Most of my family is blondes and redheads. The dark skin and dark hair in the Irish gene pool is known as "Black Irish". And yes, most people don't guess Irish. I've won many a bet over the years over my ethnicity!!! In the past three generations in my family, my grandfather (he was darker than I am), me, one of my sisters and my nephew are Black Irish.
