Reading, walking, dancing, making crazy home-made cards for my family and friends, and watching movies. Did I mention reading? :)
People who love to read and travel. I've done a lot of the former and not nearly enough of the latter.
I like a little bit of everything: world music (especially Middle Eastern and Latin), jazz, classical, big band, dark ambient, and even some classic country like Johnny Cash and Patsy Cline. Not big into modern country music, hip hop, or rap, but there are exceptions to every rule. Here's a quick list of some of my favorites: David Bowie, Khaled, Natacha Atlas, Amina, Robert Rich, Steven Roach, Mozart, Beethoven, Vivaldi, Chopin
I'm hard-pressed to pick a few favorites. I like classic 40's and early 50's screwball comedies and film noir. I also like dark SF and fantasy. More recently I liked Lord of the Rings, Moulin Rouge, Hotel Rwanda, The Fountain.
Mainly science fiction and cult TV: Star Trek: TNG, Buffy, Xena, Battlestar Galactica. Yes, I'm a big geek!
Mainly science fiction, science/natural history, and classic literature, however, I read just about anything I can get my hands on as long as it looks interesting.
Are there any heroes? Or just ordinary people who sometimes do heroic things?
