About Me:
I became a musician when I realised that with all the weird things and people that go on here in Hagerstown, there's not one person who represents the ones that are dubbed "weird". I figured I should be that person. And what better way of expressing the 'ness of us "weirdos" in Hagerstown than by music?
But what KIND of music?!?!
I knew hands-down when I started this that my music had to come from my thoughts, while representing all of us at the same time. You know; clever little random things we all think but dare not speak aloud. So why not do everything at once? "I'm sure it can be done!", I thought to myself. So I did. I got me a synthesizer and drum machine, and away I went. Everything you can possibly imagine was included in my first CD, "Resateota", which stands for "Random electronic song at the end of the album". I had things about Cake; I had things about Cats and Refridgerators. I included ho's, I included time. I made things strange and boring, and also normal and exciting. I rapped about how I hate horses. I did everything.
Once I finished the recording, mixing, etc. of my first CD from inside my own home with nothing more than a synth/drum beat program and the microphone from my old MP3 player, I figured it was time to advertise. That's when me and my best friend and also co-writer made the music video for our wildly popular hit, "Bitch Ass Ho". We made it in one night. I stayed up all night putting it together. By the next morning, it was finished. To date, the "Bitch Ass Ho" music video is the first video that pops up on MySpace search for "Hagerstown". That made me feel accomplished. I'm representing Hagerstown on MySpace Videos. Not a big accomplishment, but something is better than nothing.
After the making of the music video, I started to work on my second CD, appropriately entitled, "The Second One". It contained some songs I wanted to outtake from "Resateota", and also many new ones. I had planned on collaborating with multiple artists for this CD, but only could manage to fit in one, Amy Syverson. She wrote up a lovely song and I made the beat and what not, and we recorded it; "Can We Start Over Again?", a song about animal rights and peace.
But by far, there were more hits on "The Second One" than I ever personally expected. Such songs as "Slip It Up" (which has a music video), "Opossum", "Randomosity", and "Keep The Style" are the four favorites on this CD. A Music video for Randomosity is in the works for late June 2007. The video will be a combination of three songs from "The Second One"; "Randomosity", "Electric Insanity", and "Opossum".
And as for the future, i'm currently working on my 3rd CD, enititled, "Kingdom of Rejects". It should be available for purchase via PayPal online around late 2007/early 2008. After that is released, i'm going to plan on making an official demo in the studio, including only the songs from my 3 albums that people enjoyed the most, re-done in amazing studio quality and sound.
