About Me

I'm a transplanted Northwesterner enjoying the deep powder and sunny skies of Steamboat Springs Colorado. I was an adventure guide back in the day taking people all over the US, and Canada. These days I publish Steamboat's alternative paper, The Local with my good friend Paulie.

My Interests

Hiking, biking, rock climbing, paddling, writing, photography, traveling, tree climbing, hot springing, people watching, Yoga, music playing, energy work, movies, snowboarding, backpacking, Reiki, didjeridooing, star gazing, day dreaming, eating great food, sitting around a campfire, rock hopping, rock skipping, festivals, live shows and sitting around doing absolutely nothing.

I'd like to meet:

People with free spirits and open minds.

Music:

Pretty much everything but super angry stuff and cheesy country.

Movies:

I like quirky movies, comedies, old movies, '80s classics, fantasy and sci fi, indi flicks and foreign films.

Television:

I currently get no channels.

Books:

Authors: Tom Robbins, David Duncan, Paulo Coelho, Jack London, Jack Kerouac, JRR Tolkien, Rumi, Lao Tsu, Anne Rice, Edward Abbey, Thich Nhat Hanh and too many others to list.

Heroes:

People who face their fears and live their dreams.

Attempting the Astral Triple Lindy

Some say it's impossible to be in two places at once. I disagree. We've all had the experience of talking to someone and having them look back at you with a glazed look only to answer your question wi...
