What Lessons Have You Learned From Life? 1. You need to pick and choose your battles. Most things we get worked up over are so trivial-why waste your energy? (I'm still working on this lesson). 2.You DON'T have to have the last word. It's OKAY to disagree sometimes. 3. We can't change others-we only have the power to change ourselves. 4. Truly LISTEN to what people have to say and validate their feelings-not just hear them. 5. Remember-somebody will ALWAYS have something to say-let 'em talk.
