About Me

After fronting numerous Hobart bands as a rock singer, Hayley turned to guitar and wrote a new repertoire of roots, blues/rock and pop songs. These new songs became the skeleton of Hayley’s new sound and in late 2005 she began playing solo acoustic shows supporting artists including Ash Grunwald, Tim Rogers & Tex Perkins, Mia Dyson, Ian Moss, Tim Freedman, Monique Brumby, and The Panics. Hayley soon hand-picked local Hobart player’s to add rhythm and body to the new songs she had created. Hayley frequently performed at top Tassie pubs such as The Republic Bar and the Lewisham Tavern and accompanied by her backing band, Hayley performed at the inaugural Hobart festival, the "Lewy Day Out", headlined by Xavier Rudd. Now residing In Melbourne, Hayley has signed to Tazz Records and has began production on her first EP, due out in spring 2007.
