I am here for Friends

About Me

You are the Great Sephiroth. You probably knew you
were going to get this.
You resolve in blind anger, but you have a loyal side as well.
Family matters a lot to you, just as much as
achieving your goals. You tend to keep your
promises and come across as a cold hearted,
ruthless person. But don't worry.... we love
you, anyway!
What Final Fantasy 7 Character Are You?
brought to you by Quizilla
This pretty much nails it except that I don't carry a large sword around in public (at least not in this life).
Take my Quiz on QuizYourFriends.com!
(Insert my name here) has studied many things for many years in different places (but mainly he has focused on words printed on paper). Although he lives a modest life, he considers himself blessed in respect to the people he has encountered and bonded with in his lifetime. There are whispers that he doesn't quite have a grasp on the real world, but the truth is that all his studies have taught him that the the numena and the phenomena are the same thing. Sadly he is no longer able to distinguish the life he lives from the life he has written for himself. He is currently fond of the post mod theory that all communication is really miscommunication. His two cats openly think that he is a silly fellow, and you really don't want to know what his wife and daughter think of him; fortunately for him, all four love him none the less. Which Wes Anderson Movie do you belong in?
You Belong in The Royal Tenenbaumsyou must have really screwed something up eh? to be like Wes & Owens third movie (which money making wise has succeeded the most so far) just out of curiosity, did you see it coming? stop drawing on your mouse i see that. Movie Fact: while filming mordecai was held for randsom. (most of these facts are from commentary so why dont you take the time to watch em!?)

My Interests

I am obsessed with all things digital; although, I do still flirt with the analog. Books, movies, videogames and chai lattes. Fiction is more interesting than reality.

I'd like to meet:

Tyrone S. and all those who walk the path. Oh, and this guy...his name is Liam...he was the guy behind Sifl and Olly...and he rocks harder than your mom.

Music:

Currently: Listening to Hot Fuzz.Although it's not technically music, I am also addicted to NPR's This American Life.

Movies:

Too many. Sci-Fi and comedies are my favorites. I'm a big fan of Kevin Smith's stuff. My Top 5 are Aliens, Mallrats, Blade Runner (DC), The Cemetary Man, and Fellini's 8 1/2

Television:

Currently: It's always sunny in Philadelphia, Dr. Who, The Office (NA), My Name is Earl (for the Southern boy deep inside me) and Samurai Champloo. My favorite show ever is NewsRadio.

Books:

Currently reading ... Delillo's Falling Man. James Joyce, Thomas Pynchon, and Italo Calvino occupy much of my time, but I still love to get lost in Borges' labyrinth during my free time. My favorite reads are Calvino's If on a Winter's Night a Traveler, Borges's Ficciones, Cortazar's Todos los fuegos el fuego, Dante's Commedia, Joyce's Ulysses, and Pynchon's Gravity's Rainbow.

Heroes:

The power trio of Roland Barth, Umberto Eco and Master Shake. Together these three are invincible. And of course these two...
