Eighteen year old Harlem native, Cashflow The Prince of Harlem has proven to have this power. At the age of 7, CashFlow lost his best friend to street violence and this being yet another tragedy in his life, CashFlow knew what to use as an outlet and felt that he had experiences that needed to be relayed to the world. He decided it was time to write his own autobiography and he approached this task as he did every other task in his life, with determination and a fully inked pen. At the age of 8, CashFlow was sought out for his basketball skills and featured in the TNT special, On Hollow Ground where producers noticing his potential asked CashFlow what he wanted to do with his life, he told the producers he wanted to do something with his life that would help everyone in the world. He began by flirting with writing behind closed doors, then secretly entering freestyle contests. He finally had to break the silence when he became one of the final four contestants out of over 4,200 in the Rocafella/Sohh.com rap contest at the age of 12. Deciding to pursue rap professionally at the tender age of 12, CashFlow wowed audiences with his addictive, dynamic, stage presence early in his career. CashFlows flawless skills resulted in his winning of numerous freestyle battles and ultimately becoming the Rucker Parks Freestyle Champ for two consecutive years, in 2003 and 2004. The humble, young MC has written for several artists who sought out his ingenious writing, but keeps their names confidential to maintain professionalism. However, he admits that he wrote two songs on Lil Js Back to J album distributed by D3 entertainment and has sold over 300,000 units to date independently. In 2004, CashFlow toured the southeastern and western regions of the United States with Ciara and his song entitled, Its My Life was featured on the film release, Sweet Potato Pie. In 2005, Cashflow did a broadcast drop for BETs top music video countdown show, 106th and Park and became the freestyle champ of the rawest freestyle forum in the world, NYC Fight Klub. On July 15, 2005, CashFlow continued to make history by becoming the youngest rapper ever to appear in Don Diva Magazine after appearing in an exclusive interview in the July 2005 issue. Also, an upcoming issue of Don Diva Magazine will feature an exclusive CashFlow CD insert. Upon its arrival, CashFlows official website quickly became one of the nets most popular artist sites, receiving more than 4 million viewers in its first month. Additionally, the undisputed Prince of Harlems Myspace page receives an average of 150,500 plays in a three month span. In December 2005, Cashflow appeared on FOX TV Networks, hit television show Trading Spouses. The show became the ..1 television show in America for two successional weeks while 30 millions viewers watched Cashflow put down hot verses and live the day to day life as one of Harlems hottest rising stars. CashFlow will appear on 4 songs on the DJ Webstar album Caught In The Web,scheduled to be released on Sept. 26, 2006 on Skrilla Hill/Universal Republic. Additionally, Cashflow has the second single on the album, which features the hit song Chicken Noodle Soup. Currently, CashFlow has a cartoon in development with MTV, and a Candy bar in Development with Paul Wayne Gregory Chocolates in the United Kingdom. Also, the young rapper with the illumined future is scheduled to appear in two Paramount productions in 2007, both films executive produced by Tony Smith and Tommy Hilfiger.
