I am the type of guy that's always open to new experiences. I would like to meet anybody with an open mind and an open heart. I do not discriminate just as long as you're real and genuine with me. I do get a lot of messages daily and I do read all of them. Unforunately I can't respond back to all of them because of my work and living life. My only complaint is that some people on Myspace do not read profiles and make their own assumptions. As I've stated on numerous occasions; I am a male. I've been getting lots of messages from other guys hitting on me because of the pictures on my page. I just don't bother with those messages. However if you did read my profile; it already tells me you have substance. If you're going to take time to add me; please also take time to introduce yourself in the comment box. I love meeting new people who are unique and have a positive outlook on life. Being able to grow and prosper as an individual and making yourself a better person is by being well-rounded; open-minded; and cultured. Meeting that goal is through connecting; accepting; and learning to understand all types of people. Thank you for your time. ^_^

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Black Hair; Dark Brown Eyes; a Tattoo; and piercings; I got a mole aka Cindy Crawford but I am 100% Prime Cut Grade A Man; slender but fit; has Strict n Firm Hand yet hella soft; i use Pearl Cream :p; oh yeah free rub downs for any females with un-hairy backs; call me to make an appointment... ^_~
..........All kidding aside; I realize that I must sound very conceited and a complete moron if you actually took the time out to read what I've said earlier. In actuality I'm a very simple; down to earth guy who prefers the simple things in life. I am a small town boy at heart; ...I love the beach...camping...I simply adore nature and all of it's grandness. Sharing quality time with that someone special is priceless. There's something magical about looking at the stars at night; hands-locked; with that someone special; noticing her warm gentle smile ; the glimmer in her eyes; and without uttering a single word feeling that life can bring such peace; such happiness; such joy into one's one life and best of all; it doesn't cost anything. I have been very lucky to have experience that feeling ....once upon a time and I will do anything to capture that moment again.
There comes a point in your life when you realize that looks isnt' the most important thing you look for in a woman. Not like when you were younger and being so superficial and so self-conscious believing beauty was all that matters. It must sound cliche; but I truly believe when you are with someone that makes u feel good; makes u feel alive and you wish you could spend every waking moment with her; those are the qualities that should matter most. Since we are on that subject; I would like to talk about .. relationships. Its' only inevitable; you can meet people from all over the world .. and sometimes that certain someone can really capture your imagination and you would like to ultimately see that person in the flesh. I have been lucky to meet many wonderful people but I'm still searching for my soulmate....
..........As far as my idea of the perfect woman; I would like a woman who can engage in a stimulating and intelligent conversation. A woman who can have a open mind and be honest with her thoughts and opinions. Honesty is definitely a must in any type of relationship and it should be the foundation of a healthy relationship. There is no point in having a relationship when the relationship was based on lies or untrues. You are not into the person but rather your perception of what that person is or what that person's image that they are conveying to you. In any scenario; it is only doomed for failure from the very beginning.
The type of woman I'm looking for is someone who can be compatible with me; someone friendly and sweet; someone with a sense humor; someone I can talk to; share my inner most thoughts; hopes; dreams; ambitions; aspirations; and fears...just someone who will be by my side and share in my happiness. All the money in the world will not make u happy if you don't have someone to share in your happiness. The search may be long and hard but I truly believe in fate. We are all entitled to have a lil bit of happiness in our lives; to live the American dream; of owning a car and a house and to have kids running around in the backyard. I also have that dream and I am hoping..praying... very hard that it would be reality...one day.
The search still continues: please feel free to IM me or email me at [email protected] if you would like to chat or have any questions regarding my business.
Blurb...01/01/08: The Year 2006 was exhilirating; exasperating; exciting; exhausting; intriquing; interesting; and wonderful. 2007 was like a river splishing, splashing, squishing, splattering, swashing, slushing, sploshing, sloshing, and scattering down the days until 2008. Needless to say, it was a very eventful year and so many things has transpired. I am very thankful and proud of my accomplishments that I've set out for myself. Most of my resolutions have resolved and I need to make a new list. Having goals in life makes u want to strive for bigger and better things. Why settle for the norm when you can shoot for the stars. I would like to be the best person that I can be, either through achievements and/or through the positiveness I can spread to others. I've cut back on the things around me that I deemed negative or unconstructive. It was a very difficult transition, but taking it one day at a time really help remedy the situation. There are a lot of temptations out there that are destructive but you have to be strong to resist the urges. My birthday is fast near approaching which means another trip planned for this weekend. I am having a party this Friday and I will definitely write about the events.
I am looking forward to 2008 and all that it has to offer. There's some very exciting events planned and many trips that will be very magicial. Behind the magic is also the mystery and uncertainty. Only time will tell what type of impact that will reflect upon my life. I will also keep yall posted as the days draw near. To all the members, have a wonderful and safe '08. May it bring lots of warmth, laughter, and prosperity for you and your family. Much luv, peace, and happiness. ^_^
Blurb...09/04/07: "A friend hears the song in my heart and sings it to me when my memory fails."
Over the past few weeks as I continue to reflect upon my life, I've learn to really appreciate the people who I've considered my friends. It is true that good friends are hard to find; but more difficult to keep. Your true friends are the one who stick with you through the good times and bad times. It's so easier for anybody to enjoy your company during your highs. The true test of friendship is when you are at your lows' and a friend is there by your side. A true friend not only compliments your good quality but they will also accept your flaws. I've spent more time with some local friends just having dinner at their place and enjoying each other company. We did not have to go out to a fancy restaurant to have a good time. Back in my wild days; I used to think going to a club or bar and getting wasted was the ideal way to spend time with friends. It was a routine we did every weekend that it became so acceptable.
I guess time and experiences makes you wiser and more appreciative of the little things that you used to take for granted. Time is of the essence and taking advantage of that time only enhances our purpose in life. In the meanwhile; I'm just enjoying the moments and living life in a constructive and positive manner. Well it's getting late and sleeps call. So until next time; yall take care. ^_^
Blurb...08/23/07: Hi yall; how yall doing? I am getting ready for bed but my mind is still wandering aimlessly. It is filled with so many thoughts and ideas that it's going to be another long night. All positive thoughts tho and that positiveness and optimism was a direct result of many things accumulating over the past few weeks. I've accomplished a few goals I've set for myself. Even tho they are minor goals in the bigger scheme of things; I feel that they're a stepping stone to my ultimate goal. The Ani-jam convention was this past weekend and it was a very enjoyable and successful event. I had the privilege of running the card gaming room. I'll have pics up very soon for your viewing pleasure. Another event I'm looking forward to, is only a few weeks away. Me and some friends are making plans for San Francisco on the 15th of next September. There's the Regionals events in downtown San Fran; and lots of other attractions to visit. Things has been very hectic and it seems like there isn't enough time in the day. It's crazy in a way because the minutes turns to hours and the hours turn to days. Time has been flying by so fast that before u know it; the new year will arrive once again. It isn't a bad thing tho because when you're busy and being constructive; time is on your side. And it is only a matter of time before your goals will be reached. That goes back to my mindset that I am in momentarily. Things are going according to plan and the next few months should be very interesting and exciting. I'll keep yall posted. Until next time; yall take care. ^_^
Blurb...07/07/07: Hello yall; I heard this quote tonight, "Love? that part is easy; it's what u do after that makes it so difficult."
Being in love is like being in a beautiful trance; it's the best feeling in the world. A feeling you wish can be endured and attained for a very long time. Everybody yearns to be in that position; to be wanted and adored and "loved". That word conjours many wonderful memories and also feelings of hardship and heartache. Physical pain can always be healed but the emotional pain is much more difficult and it takes much longer. Sometimes the pain you feel from being in love and then falling out of love is a very complexed and confusing state to comprehend.
What happens when you thought the person you loved and wanted to be with turns out otherwise? Do you blame yourself or the other person? Maybe it's just the situation that wasn't right. I thought I was in love a few times; but I can honestly say I only fell in love once. It's making that love endured through so many obstacles and only time will tell if it's meant to be. Sometimes you want the relationship to last so bad that you ignored all the signs that maybe it won't work out at the end. Who are we fooling? Are we trying so hard to hold on to that feeling and once that feeling is gone; you will be lost and unfulfilled?
Do we sacrifice our true happiness for that feeling of being in love? That's a very difficult choice to make for anybody with a heart. Regardless of age; gender; ethnicity; sexual preference; or religion; it's safe to say we've all been in that place. For those of you who has found their soulmate; I am very happy for you. Life can be bliss and very magical with the right person by your side. For those of you who hasn't found the person who's meant for you; keep searching. Even through all the pain; hardship; heartbreak and heartache; don't give up. As another saying goes; "there's always a rainbow after every storm".
Blurb...07/05/07:
Hi yall; long time no type? hehe I just had to reflect on the past weekend. It was very interesting to say the least. 4 days of fun; fun; fun. It all started Friday night straight after work. I had to close up shop and plan for a 4 hours drive to Sonoma Valley. An added bonus was my chance to drive my friend's newly-purchased Black Lexus IS300. This was one smooth ride and I had to step off the gas pedal frequently to make sure I didn't get a speeding ticket. We got to my best friend's house at roughly midnight. The drive wasn't too bad considering this was only my 3rd trip to this area. Drinking the Rockstar beforehand made me quite energetic. We stayed up a couple of hours drinking and chillin around the living room. Couldn't stay up too late because tomorrow was Anime Expo in Long Beach.
The previous years' Anime Expo was held in Anaheim but this year; it has been moved to the Long Beach Convention Center. The city itself isn't that bad at all; it is definitely a complex city because you have the rough areas within miles of beautiful Downtown. As we tried to find parking for the convention; there was a large number of people strollling along the streets. Lots and lots of cosplayers were seen all about and there was a great atmosphere to start off the morning drive.
The first thing we did was take as many pictures of the wonderful cosplayers outside of the building. My personal favorite was of the Final Fantasy Advent Children cast. The motorcycle that Cloud was on was simply amazing. I'll have pics up soon for your viewing pleasure. We went inside the Exhibit Hall afterwards and did our annual shopping and sight-seeing. My friends had to purchased some more J-list shirts and there was this new company that introduced even more cute and funny logos. I'll have some of their products available within a few weeks on my page also. The great thing about Anime Expo is that there's always free merchandising that you can get. I just like walking about all the booths and seeing all the new and interesting items that vendors has to offer. The major Anime-related companies are also there to promote their products. There was also long tables of established artists and inspiring artists with their work on display.
A few hours past by before it was time for lunch. We went to a nearby Bowling Alley and had lunch there. They also offered an arcade; a bar; restaurant; and other fun activities to keep u busy. We decided on just food and drinks. Our stomachs were so stuffed; it took a lot of energy to just get up and go take more pictures of the convention before heading home.
We had to get ready for E.D.C. which stood for Electric Daisy Carnival; one of the biggest events that just happens to be in my favorite city Los Angeles. The event is simply one of the best in terms of sheer excitement and the energy level is off the scale. The site was Exposition Park starting from 4 p.m. to 4 a.m. There was 5 massive stages with over 100 Dj's and performers. Artists of note were Paul Oakenfold; Above & Beyond; Deep Dish; Sandra Collins; and Infected Mushroom. There were also full size carnival rides in comparison to any major Fair that you've been to. There must of been over 10,000 people in attendance. Like the slogan says "The Fun Starts Beneath the Sun and See the Stars When It's Done!". We lived up to that line as we stayed the whole way through. For a few hours; you were entered into a place where you have no worries and you're dancing the night away with people with the same carefree attitude. It was especially a site to behold when the sun set. The stars were out in full force and you can see the stage with their laser lights shows and big screens and smiles all around. There were enormous beach balls bouncing around the mass attendees. It's one of those times where you just had to be there to experience the moment. I also have pictures from the event up soon. The next major event is "Giant Village Summer Festival" with the one and only Armin Van Buuren; voted No. 2 in the world; but he's my personal favorite. If you've never seen him spin; you have to come out and watch him perform just once. It is an amazing experience from start to finish.
We got back to my friend's house around 5:30 in the morning and passed out until the next afternoon. Just doing nothing and bumming around the house has never felt so good. My legs were killing me from the night before and I just wanted to recover. We had the whole day to do that and be prepared for tomorrow's events. One of my best friend's local friend wanted to take us around town and show us the attractions. First destination in Los Angeles was spent with his friends chilling and mingling around their house. There was some pretty faces around and the wine only enhances the conversations. Of special note is Ms. Gina and the wonderful time I've had her. There will definitely be an encore in the near future. ^_~
I don't particularly care for tea myself; but when you're around great company; it doesn't really matter. We bid our good-byes to the lovely hosts and headed to a local restaurant for some Pho and Chinese Cuisine. Next was the Saigon Mall in Orange County. I had to pick up some Cds and a few other souvenirs for friends back home. We also bought some jewelry at very affordable prices for ourselves.
The next drive was to a local Vietnamese Cafe to rest our feet while enjoying a beverage. All the waitresses were very beautiful and they had on very sexy clothing. It was very comparable to being a tourist in Vietnam with all the scenery. As it started to get dark; we headed back to my best friend's house in Riverside.
We had a couple of hours to relax and spend time with his family. Their kids are so adorable and I always have the best time playing with them.
It's that time again when all good things must come to an end. We had to pack up our stuff and get ready to head back to good 'ol Fresno. We all thank the family for their wonderful hospitality and we're on the road again. Another exciting and awesome trip to date. Until next time; yall take care. ^_^

Hello everybody; how yall doin? I hope all is well. It's been awhile since I last wrote here. Life has been very hectic lately and I finally got a chance to catch my breath. The past few weeks has been such a blur as so many developments has transpired. The first event was the week leading to the New Year's. My very special friend came to visit and much of my time was spent with her. I have to say it was the most enjoyable and pleasant time I've had in a very long time. We went and danced the night away Friday and Saturday night. We also counted down the New Year's together in a major clubbing event on Sunday. The Tuesday after called for celebration on her birthday in a roller-skating rink. It's been ages since I've lasted skated but it was great fun. All of us headed back to her place for food and beverages and; of course; the cake. The rest of the night was full of joking around and lots of laughter. Wednesday night was movie night as we viewed Ben Stiller's new flick "A Night at the Museum". Friday night was my pre-birthday celebration with friends and family in my shop. I was forunate enough to get 2 surprise cakes which means double the wishes hehe Sometimes it doesnt' really matter where you're at or what you're doing just as long as you're with the right people. I especially enjoyed my time with my special friend and time flew by so fast before it was time for my trip to Southern California. If you're reading this and you know who you are; thank you for all the sweet memories.
As far as reflecting on the year of '06; that was the most exhilirating; exasperating; exciting; exhausting; intriquing; interesting; and wonderful year up to date. All things must come to an end before there is a new beginning. That beginning; for me; is a more meaningful and personal relationship with someone you truly respect and care for. I hope to make more wonderful memories as the days go by. A week after New Year's mean another year for me getting older; and hopefully wiser. The 7th of January is the day of my birth and I had to take a mini-vacation in Southern California. My best friend recently moved to Riverside and that was the first destination. He had moved to a great big house overlooking the mountains and it was simply amazing. It makes you want to work harder and save money to achieve the same goal. The 3 days was spent sight-seeing; clubbing; socializing; shopping; eating; drinking; dancing; laughing; traveling; sleeping; ...not necessarily in that order :p Riverside; California is definitely not a boring city. You'll see more of me in the upcoming months.
What will the New Year bring? Well that's to be determined as we once again ride this collusal roller-coaster called Life. With its' up and down and whinery and sharp turns; its' rather unpredictable. But one thing is for sure; it's one hell of a ride. As we're on that ride; we must as well make the best of it by enjoying and smiling all the way towards the very end. Until next time; yall take care. Much luv; peace; and happiness.
Blurb...09/19/06: Hello everybody; how yall doing? Today is Tuesday the 19th of September and it's time to reflect on the past weekend trip. I returned from San Francisco Monday morning around 12:30 p.m. Traffic was pretty bad because of the construction going on. Instead of 3 hours to get back to good ol Fresno; it took an extra hour and a half. Needless to say; I was exhausted and I opened the store for business. Regardless of the time; energy; and money it took to get there; it was a most memorable weekend. We headed to San Francisco straight after work and got there around 10:30 p.m. After checking in the hotel and getting freshened up ; we decided to hit the clubs instead of just waiting until tomorrow. U know we can always sleep when we're dead hehe. There's only one club in San Francisco that I simply loved and that's 1015 Folsom. Friday night is Hip Hop night and I noticed the renovation in the place. It's been almost a year since I've last been there. The place is very classy looking and the the vibe has always been great. The people there friendly and definitely looking all so sexy. We danced and drank the night away until around 3:30 a.m. Heading back to the hotel; everybody was knocked out until the next afternoon.
Saturday was all about the Japantown Anime Faire which was being held in of course Japantown. If any of yall has never been there; the atmosphere there is of old Japan when Samurais used to rule. You can feel and sense the tradition and culture of Japan within a few blocks. There was a lot of cosplayers there and most of them were very cute. Naruto once again ruled the scenary. There was also a T.V. crew there directly from Japan and they interviewed and took pics of my friends who were adorning the Japanese J-List T-shirts. I guess that was their 15 seconds of fame hehe. The thing about shopping and eating in the Japan Center is the ceiling and how low it is. Some of the sushi restaurants were only about 7 to 8 ft. tall. Imagine being a basketball player and having to walk across the place. Most of the retail stores had ur customery souvenirs and lots of traditional Japanese merchandising. My personal favorite was the video store which had almost every anime known in existence. Time flew by so fast just viewing the scenery and checking out the cosplayers that it was time for us to get back to the hotel.
We had to get ready once again and so excited about seeing the No. 1 Dj in the world. If any of yall listen to dance music; then you would know of the name PVD; simply short for Paul Van Dyk. I saw him perform last New Years' and he was simply amazing. There must be a reason why hes' rated No. 1 in the world. The destination once again was 1015 Folsom and there was a huge crowd lining up for the event. Once we got in the club; the vibe was so extraordinary; you can feel the excitement and your adrenaline is pumping so fast; you just want to dance all night. There were Go-go dancers; a fabulous light show; fog machine; and the stage set-up was great. We danced our hearts out until 4:30 a.m.
Sunday afternoon was about R & R; relaxation and trying to recover. We went to Chinatown and had Pho there. The food is always great in Chinatown and it's so inexpensive. You can buy a whole duck for $7 to $8 and you can bet it's fresh. I just like to walk and shop around Chinatown because everything is so affordable. You can find almost anything for a bargain. After stuffing ourselves with Pho; we decided to head out to Pier 39 which is at the North End of San Francisco. Pier 39 is a very beautiful place where you can feel the fresh breeze against your face. The air quality there makes you want to take a nap :p It's so refreshing and clean and you get a great view of the ocean. The food there is excellent too. If you want freshness; then u came to the right place. They cook the crabs in front of you; one minute it's alive and kicking in a container. The next few minutes; its' on your plate ready to you to dig in. Another aspect of the Pier that I enjoyed is the street entertainment around every corner. You can see break-dancers performing for you along with free lance artists drawing animated portraits of you to a human robot. Its' that time again; when all good things must come to an end. We had to head back home. Good bye San Francisco and thank you for the wonderful memories. We'll definitely be back. There's pictures in my blog entitled "Japantown Anime Faire/ San Francisco Trip" if you would like to check them out. Until next time; yall take care. ^_^
Blurb...08/25/06:
Hello yall; I hope everybody is well today. I did a show at the local anime convention called Ani-jam. It was a very successful and enjoyable event. It started August 19th to August 20th. I had a booth there and I was running the card gaming tournaments. We had 3 Yu-Gi-Oh tournaments and 1 Naruto tournament. I've been to a lot of conventions and granted; the other conventions were much larger but this event was very fun and cozy for me. I saw a lot of my friends there who werent' able to attend the larger events such as Anime Expo or Comicon.
Being a local event; it was great just to have one here in the Central Valley. I've been running my store for over 10 years now and we do have a very large number of anime fans here. Just being able to experience an anime convention once is something everybody should consider. Most of the first-timers I've talked to had a great time. They're looking forward to next year and many more years to come. The staff at Ani-jam were very friendly; courteous; helpful; and very professional.
I had to worked all day in my booth Saturday so I didnt' get a chance to see Stephanie Yanez performed. I heard she was great tho. I however did a chance to see her in person in the exhibit hall and she was very lovely. On Sunday; I packed up early and had a chance to watch Random Ninjas and Kristine Sa performed at the Paul Paul Theatre. They were great; definitely brought down the house. Random Ninjas' performance is one of the most unique and entertaining events I've ever seen. They totally rock! Kristine Sa's performance was amazing too; she had a great voice and she wasn't bad to look at either. I was forunate to get a picture with her when she happened to walked by my booth. She was very friendly and definitely a sweet person.
Along with the forementioned events; there was also a anime music video contest and show; art gallery; photoshop magic studio; cosplay masquerade; special guest panels; karaoke; anime viewings; and video gaming tournaments. There was something for everybody and it's always great to meet people who share your interests and hobbies. Here are a few pictures from the event. The pictures are in my blog entitled "Ani-Jam Pictures". For those of you who missed this event; there's always next year to experience anime the Ani-jam Way! ^_^
Blurb...07/31/06: Hello yall; how yall doing? I got the pictures from the Anime Expo that I've promised. I'm sorry I didnt' get them done earlier; I've been extremely busy with work and my trip. The pictures are in my blog entitled "Anime Expo". Enjoy ^_^
Blurb...07/25/06: Hello yall; how is everybody doin? I hope all is well. I just got back home from my "mini-vacation". It was exhilarating to say the least. I left on Friday straight after work to Orange County. It was a very long and tedious drive to my best friends' house. Waking up late afternoon; we were on our way to Moreno Valley to this destination; Lake Perris. I'm not sure if yall have been to the desert before; but the heat in Moreno Valley is crazy. Reading the therometer in the SUV; it was 118 degrees. I'm not making this up; I only wish I was. It was so hot and humid; I almost melted. Thank god we were going to a lake. By the time we got there; I immediately stripped to my shorts and jumped in the water; it felt so good. One of my friends has a boat; actually 2 boats and this was my first experience in a boat. As the boat was coasting thru the water; it felt like a scene from "Miami Vice". I was waiting for bad guys to shoot at us. The rush was amazing as we felt the breeze and water splashing through our face and body. We spent the next few hours just playing in the water and trying to cool off. Even at 7:00 p.m.; it was still 100 degrees...burn baby burn! As the sun started to set; we headed home.
I had to get some ZZZzZZzz's because tomorrow was our day at Comicon in beautiful San Diego. If yall have not been to San Diego; it's simply one of the most beautiful cities out there. Just everything about that city symbolizes class and splendidness. We got to the San Diego Convention Center late afternoon and their convention center is a sight to behold. The architectural structure is simply breath-taking. There must of been a few thousand people in attendance. My favorite artist was my first priority. Billy Tucci; the creator and founder of "Shi" is always there every year. He's quite a character and always very friendly. I purchased 2 litographs with a personalized autograph from him. They shall go in my room right next to the other autographed posters and comics I have purchased the previous years. We must of walked miles around the show and picked up so many freebies. Half of the vendor's booth was dedicated to predominantly comic books and collectibles. The other half was Japanese animation and Marvel and DC merchandising. Even Mick Foley from the WWE was there. As closing time approached; I call and met up with a friend who was a local resident. We were all so hungry and he wanted to treat us to the best barbeque ever. In his own words; the food is like "orgasm in your mouth"...not sure what he meant by that; but it sounded very interesting. As we approached the place; "Phil's BBQ"; there was a pretty good size crowd indicating the food is good. The bad part was that there was a 45-50 minutes wait. That's pretty crazy; so we decided to hit up a nearby bar during the wait. I almost failed to mention that my friend invited his lovely female friend along. She was indeed something pretty to look at and to top it off; she had a wonderful sparkling personality. If you're reading this Ms. Sexy sexy; this is just the start of a beautiful relationship. We had a few drinks and a few laughs and then headed back to the bbq. The food was great; the best bbq I've ever had from a restaurant. The meat was so juicy and tender MmMmmMMM yummy in my tummy. After stuffing myself with ribs and corn; and relaxing my stomach for a few minutes. We were ready to head down to Mexico.
The lovely lady had prior obligations so it was just the boys making a run South of the border. The first club we went to was Mexican heaven if there is such a thing. I've never seen so many J-Los' and Selma Hayek's lookalikes in my life. The ladies were dressed to impressed and looking all so sexy. The other clubs wasnt' too bad either. After a few hours of dancing and mingling with the locals; it was almost midnight. We needed to head back to Orange County before I turned into a pumpkin or something worst. We got back to my best friends' house at 2 a.m. and I passed out in bed. Monday was a time to relax and have another bbq in the backyard. My best friend's wife is a wonderful cook and she makes the best papaya salad. MmMMmmmMM It feels so good just shooting the breeze with friends and enjoying more laughs. I bid my farewell at 10 p.m. and headed back to Fresno. Home sweet home! Overall; it was a very pleasant experience and until next time; take care yall. ^_^
Blurb...07/09/06: Hiya everybody; how yall doing? I hope all is well. I just woke up from a very interesting night of dancing and drinking at my friend's wedding. Weddings? either you gotta love em or absolutely hate em. I simply adore weddings; I think it's one of the most beautiful things that can be shared between two people. A typical asian wedding can be summoned up into two separate parts; first is the actual ceremony in the morning and then you have the banquet in the evenings. The groom was Cambodian and the bride was Laotian. My friend's wedding began at 8 a.m. which is the exchange of the wedding vows at the bride's residence. It was so packed and humid there; there must of been a few hundred people all cramped inside a living room. The wedding banquet started at 5 p.m. at a local restaurant. There was around 300 attendees and most were dressed to impress. The bride's family were local but the groom's family were from Long Beach and the Los Angeles area. I met some of them the previous night and they were awfully attractive. There was this one young lady who was Chinese/ Cambodian from the groom's side and she had the most beautiful smile. Most of the bride's side of the family I knew from Middle School and High School. It's always great to reflect on your childhood growing up and seeing how everybody grew up.
One thing about an asian wedding is the ridiculous amount of liquor that is available. I helped myself to a bottle of Remy Martin which is 40 % alcohol; so for you non-alkys out there; that' s a lot. :p I also liked the band that was playing; they mixed it up pretty well. My friend was singing karokee and he had a great voice. Nothing better than drunk karokeeing to liven the crowd hehe. To sum things up; it was a great event; definitely a very enjoyable experience. The only negative thing is the hangover the following morning. Until next time; everybody take care and have a great weekend. ^_^
Blurb...07/04/06: Happy 4th of July everybody; plz be safe and enjoy yourself on this festive holiday. What a long day at work today. I was so sore from the drive home this morning. I believed I got home at 2 a.m. from Anaheim. The Anime Expo was great; had an awesome time. I have so much pictures and I'll be sure to post them this week. There was so many great cosplayers; it's hard to narrow down my favorites. You can see for yourself the wide range of cosplayers that was there on exhibit. Another highlight of the trip was ATB and Armin Van Buuren spinning at Spundae's special event. This is my favorite and the best club in Hollywood. It was a major event featuring 2 of the premier Djs' in the world. I had an amazing time; I did not want to go home. There had to be around 3000 party people in attendance. The Anime Expo rave party wasn't bad either. You gotta love that youth exuberance and the music was suited for the scene. I haven't seen that much glowsticks since the late 90's hehe. My best friend also greeted us with 2 nights of BBQ and drinks at his place. Sometimes you just want to whine down and be among great friends. Overall; that was a very pleasant experience and I'm looking forward to Comic-con in San Diego on the 21th. Until then; take care everybody. ^_^
Blurb...06/25/06: Hey yall; I hope everybody is well today. I can't seem to sleep tonight so I decided to start this blurb. I just wanted to say that I'm very proud of my group TVN Asian Alliance and the members in the group. We're currently over 4000 members and growing. When I first started this back in February 12; 2006; I wanted a fun and entertaining place where people with similiar interests can have a forum to express themselves. I hope it has served that purpose. I have met many great people from here and hoping to meet more. Before I go to bed; I just want to leave a final note.

Hello yall; how is everybody doin? I hope all is well for u and your family. First of all; I respect every culture and very open-minded enough to listen and be appreciative of the contributions of every race in this world of ours. All you have to do is be willing to open your ears and listen to each individual because everyone has something to offer to the world. Regardless of race; gender; age; and preference; every person out there can contribute to society and be a vital part of someone's life. We were discussing our existence as human beings in this vast world of ours. I truly believed that each person was created for a purpose. Every person is special and unique in their own ways and in due time; we will know why we were created. You may already realized your purpose in life and your reason for being. Even if you're uncertain and lost in the path of life; it will come later on down the road; but eventually your destiny will be fulfilled. We all have something to contritube to the world; to make it a better and peaceful place.
The way a person looks isn't as important as the size of their heart. Having a good heart makes that person beautiful inside and out. It may sound corny; but a person with a great personality always outshine someone who has looks but has no originality and no character. In saying that; my friends tell me I have a wicked sense of humor. I do love making people laugh and smile. Don't be afraid to smile because it's free. It will make you feel so good inside and you'll never know; but your smile will brighten up someone's darkest days. I am a big kid at heart; and the fun part of me will always be there. I hope I don't ever lose my inner-child because that part of me has helped me through many trials and tribulations. I always try to be oppimistic and seeing the positive side to every situation; no matter how negative the experiences were. Even the obstacles and hardships that I've endured will only make me more stronger and determined to achieve that goal of happiness and success. One of my dreams was to become an entertainer but I ended up being a retailer. That isn't so bad because I try to "entertain" my customers haha.
I am part Chinese mixed with Thai and Cambodian which makes me an asian milkshake hehe. Every culture is beautiful in thier own ways and the Asian culture is no exception. I do try to promote the Asian culture which includes every country such as Japan; China; Thailand; Laos; Cambodia; Vietnam; Korea; Phillipines; and etc. I have an anime store and most of my products revolves around Japanese animation and other Japanese imported merchandising. The subjects I talk about are from my personal experiences. I love Thai food because it's very spicy and unique with its' blend and herbs. I love the Chinese cinema with its' action-packed fighting sequence and beautiful scenery. I love the Korean group SES and Baby Vox. I also listened to a lot of Thai karokee DVDs. My favorite food is Pho which I tried to frequent at least once a week at the local Vietnamese restaurant. The Angor Wat in Cambodia is one of the most splendid and unique wonders in the world. Those are to name a few examples that the asian culture provides. Until next time; yall take care and much luv; peace; and happiness to you and your family. ^_^
“When I slow down long enough to smell the roses, I usually see the beauty and all else that is ours to share.â€

“We overlook so many joys, so many hidden treasures, when we hurry from place to place, person to person, experience to experience, with little attention anywhere. All that matters passes before us now, at this moment. And assuredly, we will not pass this way again. It has been said the greatest gift we can give one another is rapt attention; additionally, living life fully attentive to the breezes, the colors, the sorrows and the thrills as well, is the most prayerful response any of us can make in this life. Nothing more is asked of us. Nothing less expected. We have just this one life to live, and each day is a blessing. … I will look closely at everything in my path today. The women and children, the trees and squirrels, the silent neighbors. I will never see them again as I see them today. I will be at attention.â€
~Karen Casey

When were you last at attention? We can get so caught up in our busy lives that at times, it feels like we’re pulled along against our will, unable to stop and take a time out. The concept of focused attention occurred to me while I was on my vacation last month. It took several days for me to shake the “real world†and settle into simple enjoyment of space, time, people, and experiences. Once I was finally able to do that, my trip became exponentially more enjoyable.
A friend commented on one picture taken of me in Prague, saying that I looked more relaxed, peaceful, and happy than she had seen me in ages. I studied the picture and recalled the time and place and knew she was right. The difference in that picture, as opposed to photos taken previously in the trip, was by that time, I got it; I was finally living in focused attention. I began feeling the city, truly seeing the people, hearing the richness of the different languages surrounding me. I noticed the blooming daffodils, rejoiced in hints of spring, soaked up the sun, and relished each moment with my dear new friends, enjoying each second of discovery. I didn’t think or worry about anything else; I simply absorbed and cherished everything around me.It’s absolutely a goal of mine to remain in that mind frame, but unfortunately I know it will slip away quickly. However, it’s my hope that both you and I will be able to recapture moments and days like the one I described. The practice of focused attention is the key to making time slow down. Next time you find yourself in a place, with a certain person, or in the middle of an intense experience, focus your attention on the moment, stop, breathe, and relish the opportunity.
~Ashley Tipton
Hello yall; life does work in mysterious ways and you try to understand and learn as you go through that journey. Throughout that journey comes forth my writings based on my own impressions and expressions of life and the way it revolves around me. In saying that; I also appreciate a good read and I came across this essay which I would like to share with yall.
The Paradox of Our Age
We have taller buildings but shorter tempers; wider freeways but narrower viewpoints; we spend more but have less; we buy more but enjoy it less; we have bigger houses and smaller families; more conveniences, yet less time; we have more degrees but less sense; more knowledge but less judgement; more experts, yet more problems; we have more gadgets but less satisfaction; more medicine, yet less wellness; we take more vitamins but see fewer results. We drink too much; smoke too much; spend too recklessly; laugh too little; drive too fast; get too angry quickly; stay up too late; get up too tired; read too seldom; watch TV too much and pray too seldom.
We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values; we fly in faster planes to arrive there quicker, to do less and return sooner; we sign more contracts only to realize fewer profits; we talk too much; love too seldom and lie too often. We've learned how to make a living, but not a life; we've added years to life, not life to years. We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet the new neighbor. We've conquered outer space, but not inner space; we've done larger things, but not better things; we've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul; we've split the atom, but not our prejudice; we write more, but learn less; plan more, but accomplish less; we make faster planes, but longer lines; we learned to rush, but not to wait; we have more weapons, but less peace; higher incomes, but lower morals; more parties, but less fun; more food, but less appeasement; more acquaintances, but fewer friends; more effort, but less success. We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but have less communication; drive smaller cars that have bigger problems; build larger factories that produce less. We've become long on quantity, but short on quality.
These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion; tall men, but short character; steep in profits, but shallow relationships. These are times of world peace, but domestic warfare; more leisure and less fun; higher postage, but slower mail; more kinds of food, but less nutrition. These are days of two incomes, but more divorces; these are times of fancier houses, but broken homes. These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, cartridge living, thow-away morality, one-night stands, overweight bodies and pills that do everything from cheer, to prevent, quiet or kill. It is a time when there is much in the show window and nothing in the stock room. Indeed, these are the times!
Hello all; Anime Expo is around the corner and we're trying to raise funds for the trip. The proceeds will go towards the transportation; room & board; admission tickets; food; gas; and etc for the local anime club members to the Anime Expo during the 4th of July weekend. For some of these first-time attendees; the memories will be priceless. The Comicon Convention is during the July 28th and 29th weekend. Ani-Jam is the 2nd week of August. If you would like to help and make a donation; simply click below on the Paypal logo and my email is [email protected]. Donations will greatly be appreciated. Thank you for your time. ^_^
