I'm just an all American Girl, who enjoys working hard on things that I am passionate about. I love 80's metal and miss the good ole days of spiked hair and crazy colored spandex... lol... I have a very low tolerance for ingnorance and stupid people... people who are mean-spirited or prejudice... the world has enough negative energy - get a life because you obviously need one if all you can do is put others down. I LOVE LOVE LOVE NASCAR and especially #88... Jr's my boy... because I believe he is a clean driver with incredible talent (not cause of who his daddy is or cause "he's cute")... I am usually not far from a TV on race day... and if by some odd chance a TV is not available then I am watching the race on my phone... (can you say addict...) I work for the State - but I am not one of those State Workers who give the rest of us a bad name... it is a rough job and some days I just am overcome with sadness at how some people actually treat their children... I am an avid "Scrapbooker" and love the creativity of making memories for people... I consider my self a Christian, yet some things I believe in my heart don't necessarily fit in with the Christian religion... I have a 14 year old (good god I have a teenager - when the hell did that happen??) who I love more than life itself... he is just a great kid even if he does like crazy ass music!!

My Interests

NASCAR, Scrapbooking, White Water Rafting, Camping, Walking on the Beach, Music and Concerts, anything that gives you an adrenline rush... I love Disney World!! went nine times last year... the Mouse rocks!!

I'd like to meet:

Dale Jr (Duh...)George Bush so I can see if his head is actually physically up his a**... and then I can tell him what I think of his policies and his war... ...Jesus - which I do my best to make sure that is who I will spend my "eternity" with when I leave this lovely planet...The man I am supposed to spend the rest of my life with... a man who can say he loves me more than anyone else he has loved in his life...

Music:

Current favorites are: 3 Doors down, Nickelback and Linkin Park.... but I love a wide variety anything from pop to rock, alternative to country (well some country)... I think Classical music is good if you need music to slit your wrists to... lol... and please don't try to take me to a Jazz club... not my style

Movies:

Anything with Adam Sandler... he grew up several streets over from me and I have beem smitten since I was 8... Ever After, The Notebook, Uptown Girls, When Harry Met Sally, The Breakfast Club, Raising Helen, How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days, Sweet Home Alabama, Catch and Release... notice a patern???

Television:

House... House rocks!! Hugh Laurie rocks!! I love House... if you haven't seen it sit your ass down on the couch and watch it... Charmed, Ghost Whisperer, Medium and American Idol

Books:

I used to read a book a night.... no, not a picture book... something with substance... whether it's light reading or thought provoking... I have a whole library room full of books... I love to read and stimulate my mind... Recommendations for those on a Spiritual path - The Celestine Prophecy, Conversations with God, Mutant Message Down Under, and The Little Prince... anything by Anne Rice. The Left Behind Series, Harry Potter series, Ted Dekker, Frank Peretti...

Heroes:

Jesus Christ for the impact he had on the world... the men and women who give their lives everyday to help and protect those in need, our troops fighting for our freedom - and the sacrifices they have made to do so - I could never say thank you enough... my mom - she's the strongest, most intelligent woman I have ever met, through all odds and tests of spirit and courage she has been a shining beacon of light - if I grow up to be anything like her I will have done well with my life....
