High Velocity Folk Music

About Me

Moodcrush was originally formed in late 1990 under the name Nirvana Groove. A little underground band emerged from Seattle shortly after and turned the music industry upside down...and so Nirvana Groove changed their name. Moodcrush was eventually settled upon after several other name changes, confusing the hell out of everyone trying to follow the band. Comprised of members from NH & MA, Moodcrush went on to play a whole lot of shows at clubs up and down the east coast, but mostly in the Boston area. Some music was recorded along the way as well, including the album "Devil Monkey Stew", but the big major label release never materialized. Some of you out there may recall the band if you were a part of - or into - the music scene in Boston/NH from the late 80's through the mid 90's. Moodcrush, if nothing else, did their own thing, combining progressive and psychadelic sounds with hard rock/metal and some unique vocals, developing a fanbase who had "acquired a taste" for the band's original sound. Love it or hate it I guess. The band broke up around 1997 and that's pretty much that.If you stop by be sure to say Hey. plain layout @ HOT FreeLayouts.com
