We're Arcane.
And we rule the universe.
We're a local four piece metal band from Eastbourne. You don't get much more metal than Eastbourne. Its so heavy, we're sinking into the sea and making sea levels rise. And most of that is due to Arcane. Sorry world. We've been around since February '06 with some temporary members. But since January '08, we've become the band we were searching for.
We're finished recording our 7 track album! YES! I KNOW! IT MAKES YOU CUM! Keep some tissues by the computer or something. Its on sale for a lovely £3! Fucking CHEAP! £3! You should well buy it so you can hear all the tracks!!! Nice one (Y)
For some reason, we've managed to sound unique (thats what other people have said) compared to the other bands out there who actually tried to be alternative or 'something new'. All we've ever done is create whatever the hell we fancy. Hmm... I guess we're just that great...
In the words of Ozzy Osbourne; "Go check out Arcane live and buy their EP! Its the fucking best ever!" In the words of the gays in Aiden; "Damn I wish I could create awesome music like that... Well atleast thats something else to slit my wrists about"
Solo battle for new song "A Moment of Glory"
Review of our first gig by Eastmagazine!!
"In truth I’ve always repelled metal but an unsophisticated quality about the local four-piece drew me in. It was the simplicity and unapologetic recreation of the sounds made by such greats as Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne and Iron Maiden that stood them in such good stead.
They had the Bar Blue crowd in fits of laughter with their opening track ‘Last Light’, which brilliantly sampled the death march, and never looked back. Jeff Turton on lead guitar had the hair of a rock god and excelled on lead guitar, while the whole composite was flawless throughout the set. The result was an inspired throwback to 80s rock - an air guitarist’s wet dream"
Review of The Carlisle Hastings 16 January 2009 by Carol Copper
At last here is a band that replaces the old, tired, worn out rock bands of recent years. Oz,Sam, David and Jeff, remember their names, these boys are brilliant musicians and the vocals leave all the others in the shade. Arcane blazed on to the stage with their first offering of the evening, superbly presented, loud enough to give you palpitations but not enough to make your ears bleed - a pleasant surprise for the regulars of the pub and others who had come in to listen - the numbers by now had swelled to breaking point. A request for 'A Moment of Glory' also one of their compositions followed - fans old and new rose to the occasion - heads banging, hair flying, hands raised in appreciation for this exciting track, thunderous drums, wailing guitars, thumping bass line and sung with the enthusiasm and gusto we've come to expect from this young and amazing band. A shot through the very heart of all the fans past and present who came to worship their idols. If you weren't a fan before, you sure would have become one on the 16th of January 2009. Remember where you saw the name 'Arcane' - I have been involved in rock music as a fan and past performer for most of my life and I've seen some of the greats from the past such as Sabbath, Purple, Rainbow and too many others to mention - Arcane reminded me of why I love rock music so much. Nothing is as exciting, exhilarating and uplifting as experiencing a great rock band live. Thank you 'Arcane' you made a lot of people very happy at that pub in Hastings - long may you reign. At the end of the set we were all wanting more, but alas they were gone. We will be hearing and seeing a lot more of these guys I'm sure. Here's to the past, the present and the future of the phenomenon that is 'Arcane'
