About Me

I am a Southern (and country and proud of it) girl with a lot of passion to go around! I am passionate about God, my family, my friends, helping to make the world better for others and fighting racism/white supremacy and sexism whenever/wherever I can. I truly believe that "wealth consists not in having great possessions but in having few wants."For fun, I enjoy cooking and eating good food, working out, live music and theatrical performances, sports, horseback riding, fishing, traveling, going to the movies and reading... I'll try almost anything once and I'm open to learning new things. Likewise, I enjoy spending time with positive people with open minds and open hearts.

My Interests

Community service, working out, cooking, reading, attending theatre performances, live music and traveling. Love animals and nature.

I'd like to meet:

New friends, reconnect with old friends and learn more about people from all over the world. After spending a wonderful 7 plus years in D.C., I'm starting a new chapter in TX, so I'd like to meet new friends in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.

Movies:

Some all-time favorites: To Kill A Mockingbird, The Outsiders, Seven, My Best Friend's Wedding, Love and Basketball and Terms of Endearment.

I just finished reading, "For One More Day" by Mitch Albom. It was good. On to the next book...
