Strange Fluid - liquid explosives on the dancefloor! Blowing out beats without compromise, fat basses and wild sounds the three musicians and the supporting team of berlin-based band Strange Fluid set free immediate live-energy. At their unusual shows they make use of the diverse possibilities of electronics on the one hand, but on the other hand stay true to their passion as musicians with authentic instruments and they perform their shows at 100 percent live. Performance in a club gets a new definition by this symbiosis of human and machine. The concerts develop like a DJ-Set. The flow never stops - no breaks between tracks that are shifting from Drum'n'Bass to Dancehall and Dub and are being pushed forward by interaction with the audience dancing. Live-Dubs and Sweeps of the Dubmaster remind bits of sound of the urban djungle. When Strange Fluid rock the dancefloor they push up anybody's frequency of pulse.

Strange Fluid - flüssiger Sprengstoff auf dem Tanzboden! Mit kompromisslosen Beats, satten Bässen und wilden Sounds setzen die drei Musiker und das Support-Team der Berliner Band Strange Fluid unmittelbare Live-Energie frei. Sie nutzen für ihre ungewöhnlichen Shows einerseits die unterschiedlichsten Möglichkeiten der Elektronik, bleiben aber andererseits echte Musiker mit echten Instrumenten und performen ihre Auftritte zu hundert Prozent live. Mit dieser Symbiose von Maschine und Mensch wird Clubperformance neu definiert. Die Konzerte funktionieren wie ein DJ-Set. Alles fließt - keine Pause. Die Tracks werden von Drum'n'Bass, Dancehall und Dub bewegt und durch die ständige Interaktion mit dem tanzenden Publikum vorangetrieben. Live-Dubs und Sweeps vom Dubmaster sind Soundfetzen des urbanen Dschungels. Wenn Strange Fluid den Dancefloor rocken, treiben sie jede Pulsfrequenz in die Höhe.

Strange Fluid - Bio
The drum’n’bass-band Strange Fluid was founded in Berlin in 2001. Thomas Leisner (drums+loops) and Kai Mader (sax+synths) called this project into life after they finished their studies in music as an electronic laboratory and session-band for drum’n’bass. Soon Jürgen Munder (dubs+sweeps) joined the band an since 2006 Joh Weisgerber (bass+subbass) lays the base to the sound of Strange Fluid. Currently Dean Martin (mix+master) gives a bright shine to the sound at the mixing desk front of house. Out of the jamming developed straight dancefloor, the band established berlin’s party-event „Underwaterlove“ in collaboration with related video-artists. Looking at the musicians side-projects you can still find a certain interest in different styles (Transsylvanians, Tiger Hifi, Mellowmark), but their addiction to drum’n’bass is too strong ... STRANGE FLUID is the solution!
Strange Fluid - Bio
Die Drum'n'Bass-Band Strange Fluid wurde 2001 in Berlin gegründet. Thomas Leisner (Drums+Loops) und Kai Mader (Sax+Synths) riefen das Projekt nach ihrem Musikstudium als elektronisches Labor und Drum'n'Bass-Sessionband ins Leben. Bald kam Jürgen Munder (Dubs+Sweeps) zur Band und seit 2006 gibt Joh Weisgerber (Bass+Subbass) dem Sound von Strange Fluid das Fundament. Aktuell veredelt Dean Martin (Mix+Master) den Sound der Band am Pult Front of House. Aus der Jam wurde Tanzboden, die Band veranstaltete mit befreundeten Videokünstlern die Berliner Partyreihe "Underwaterlove". In den Nebenprojekten der Musiker kann man durchaus noch ein gewisses Interesse an anderen Stilen erkennen (Transsylvanians, Tiger Hifi, Mellowmark), doch die Sucht nach Drum'n'Bass ist zu stark ... STRANGE FLUID hilft!
