DJ Dolphin
He started out in 1997 on discotheques outside Prague under supervision
of experienced DJs and radio promoters. Apart from other things, he
was well prepared to throw great private parties. Right at
the end of last millennium, his attention was caught by a project
called Gouryella and since then, he is attracted to trance.
The most important point of his career so far was that he became
a resident DJ in Crash club. Thanks to his sense for the mood of the night
and devotion to music, his sets soon became the highlight of
the program. He became a noticeable competition to other DJs,
even those under protection of the most popular radios.
In 2004 he became responsible for the program composition of
the whole club. That was the right moment to give preference to his
favoured style - trance. Trance had begun to appear more and more
in the dramaturgy of nights in Crash. Thanks to increasingly popular
trance producers, such as DJ Tiesto, the style was also becoming more
and more popular among the audience. And it was at this moment,
that the idea of a purely trance project, performed together with
his friend DJ Sally J, came to be.
It was also in Crash club, where he begun to play from vinyl records.
After a time, he appeared on Tiesto festival and even on Carl Cox
and Summer of Love. After these events, the CrossRyders became
the main attraction of the NTC tour, with which he toured
the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Another milestone was an offer to present a mixed program broadcasted
live on the DanceRadio. Their four-hour show has become one of
the radios most successful programs. Shortly after, they had met
a couple of producers from Kladno and a new project, called
Dolphin & Sally J feat. ReBorns was created. They managed to make
some fine live performances with their keyboards and also produce
songs, two of which (Anthem, Tears of Sun) have made it to
the top of the DanceRadio DLC chart. Their new pieces, regularly
presented within their sets, were met with much appreciation
from the audience.
After a few months, when one of the ReBorns had departed,
the project fell apart and the CrossRyders Team reoriented itself onto
cooperation with a talented trance producer Thomas Coastline.
