About Me

So you want to know something about me, eh? Well, my name is Jeremy Emberling. I was born in Chickasha, Oklahoma in 1988 and lived there until 2000, when I moved to Louisiana. It was a dramatic shift in my life and I slowly got used to the place and now live in Crowley, Louisiana. I am the Information Technology Manager at a safety consulting firm in Lafayette, and I enjoy my job a lot. I have always been known by everyone as "the computer guy" which I must admit gets very old after awhile, but I don't mind helping those who need it.
I used to be into web design, but now I am just a big idea guy. I love to dream up new ideas and solutions that involve technology, as a matter of fact, I hope to make it my career one day. I am also working with a good friend of mine, Matt, on a new technology that will one day change the world.
So, I guess now you know a little more about me then you did before you read this. If you already knew all this, then you're either a good friend or a stalker, which in either case I'm flattered.

Favorite TV Shows:

The Office, Heroes, Metalocalypse, Bionic Woman, Family Guy, Sanford and Son, and The Boondocks. I hate reality shows. The only reality show I enjoy watching is the news, and I don't even watch that.

Favorite Books:

Books are useless! I only ever read one book, "To Kill A Mockingbird", and it gave me absolutely no insight on how to kill mockingbirds! Sure it taught me not to judge a man by the color of his skin, but what good does that do me?

Heroes

Everyone I know inspires me in ways they wouldn't understand, and they don't need to. Some of the most notable people who make me think twice about my actions and question myself are: Shelly Jennings, Scott Moore, Larry Evans, Matt Sanders, Skylar Hearn, Nathan Tarbell
