Rhythmus Modern originates from a surfband called The Outsiders. In the begining we had two different kinds of sets to play live; one was surf-rock and the other was more like easy listening. We made three records of wich two of them were surf and one was easy listenig; die erotische hitparade mit den Outsiders (1999). After a couple of years we decided to split the band into two; The Five Outsiders for surfmusic and Rhythmus Modern for jolly easy listening. David, Klas and Tias were additions to Rhythmus Modern and the sound started to form as it sounds today. The sound is not easy to put into definition but the best way to label it would be German Latino. Listen to it and decide for yourselves.
