Hydro Da High Rolla is the CEO/Artist of High Rolla Records. He decided to embark on his musical journey after fulfilling promises to his family to finish parole and graduate from college. He states, Ive been rapping and free-styling since I was in middle school, but never really had the time, money, or freedom to do it the right way!" Growing up in a broken-home, and turning to the streets for guidance, he quickly found himself in the cycle of the criminal justice system. After being released from serving 4 years on a 10 year sentence in 2000 for aggravated robbery, he graduated from UTSA in 2005 with an Information Systems Mgt Business Degree.(3.0 GPA) Inspired by Snoop Dogg and ex-gang leader Tookie Williams (RIP), He is an anti-genocide activist and delivers a message of empowerment through education and entrepreneurship. Using his street- smarts and academics, he plans to "shock" the Hip-Hop world! He was given the name Hydro by his homies for being able to flow like water over hot tracks! But his aroma tells me that it could have different meaning, and from his controversial album cover, I might be right. He has a Dirty-South Crunk flava equipped with impressive lyrics of various styles. The name High Rolla came from having a reputation in Las Vegas for being a "big gambler". One day after arriving at the casino, Hydro noticed everyone pointing, being extra nice, and offering their help; the Concierge at the MGM Grand told him that all the commotion was because He was a High Rolla, thus the name High Rolla Records. Before launching High Rolla Records, he dabbled in the Adult Entertainment industry by providing hot talent to production companies, gentlemens clubs, and private Bachelor parties. His performances have received rave reviews, as well as, controversial criticism because the ladies on stage tend to go above and beyond the call of duty. Lucky members of the audience receive lap-dances on stage, and things can get pretty crazy. These 2-Live-Crew style shows are exploding across college parties, night clubs, and concerts in the South as a result of his new promotional campaign.Stay tuned for his first DVD entitled "Drippy Drippy Drop"; it will feature some of the Adult Industry's hottest new starlets as well as underground footage taken behind the scenes at shows and events.
