About Me

Except for a stint in Florence, Italy, Rachelle been a Texas her entire life, in big cities and bucolic wide-spots-in-the-road alike. She recently moved from Austin to Tucson, Arizona where she works from her home studio as a graphic designer and (surprise) enjoys doing visual art in her spare time. For three years, she was art director for two ground-breaking publications, The BackWord.com magazine and Austin Downtown Arts magazine. She is a founding member artist of Pump Project Art Complex where she served as publicist and gallery organizer for a couple of years. Currently, she is producing paintings on vintage fabric and recycled fashions incorporating embroidery and puff paint.
