About Me

Born Jeffrey JK Russell born in Riviera Beach better known as the RAW. Last born of 4 boys and youngest of a group of cousins he found himself picking things up quick and growing up fast. At a young age he found himself picking up the love of music and the feel for the stage by watching his older brothers and couisins perform in local talent shows around the city. Eventually he found his own talent, which came in the form of rapping. Which started as friendly freestyle sessions, and even coming up with his own songs w/ his older cousin (BABYLON) his gift eventually took it's course. After he moved to Orlando Fl for college, he connected with his friend Mario(M-16) older brother Chris (MR. Chris) and started rapping with a group of friends which became known as TAKEOVA and the saga began. Now he plans to take his lyrics across the world with his versatile flow and captivating lyrics is sure to cause chaos in the rap game...FIGADEEL

September 4, 2007 Pop Stuff: Local rapper shines; Costner; free Dave and BRUUUUUUUCE!Just found out that there's a hometown boy on "Set It Off," the just-released first single from the album "Noreality" by rapper N.O.R.E. (the artist formerly known as Noreaga). J Ru$$, featured prominently on the song, might be better known as Riviera Beach's Jeffrey Russell. Now living in Orlando, he says he started putting out his music underground. His Orlando producers, Oz and The Deacon, got some of his stuff in N.O.R.E.'s hands, and now he's on a big-time rap record.
Influences: My music influences is anything real, soulful, and just plain good music
