guitar playing, writing, reading, tennis, cooking and baking (especially anything chocolate!), hanging out with friends and family, checking out bookstores and movies, praise and worship, reading to a beautiful woman and enjoying and learning from whatever life presents me.
Anyone who realizes what a gift and opportunity this life is, no one who complains about being bored (those who say this just are not trying hard enough!).If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands and then write to me!If you're evil, self centered, a slave to some substance (chocolate is exempt here), wring your hands with concern and then write to anyone else!I'm told that I'm a "nice guy," and the friends I presently have here (and in "real" life) all are superswellfantastic peoples too-be one if you want to be my buddypal, misters and misteresses!Layout made by infamous_chiq at CreateBlog.com .
classic rock: Led Zeppelin, Hendrix, Jeff Beck, Miles Davis, The Beatles, King's X, Jim Campilongo, The Little Willies, Les Paul, Danny Gatton, The Stones, Lyle Lovett, Marvin Gaye, Leonard Cohen, Cheap Trick, Pink Floyd, Government Mule, most blues performers, many jazz artists...really, I'll listen to just about anything at least once....
I'm partial to comedies-who doesn't need a good laugh now and then?. I really like Cary Grant films, Pee Wee's Big Adventure, Support Your Local Sheriff, Caddyshack, Fletch, Vacation...I've spent many an hour watching the classic dramas shown on AMC, TCM, etc-there are just too many to list here...
Seinfeld, Scrubs, Monk, Psych, Adult Swim shows, Food Network, Letterman and Conan....
I wouldn't know where to start-I'm a reader, a voracious one at that...Delillo, Carver, Saroyan, Blake, Coleridge, Wordsworth, Boyle-I have stacks of books on top of stacks of books...Robert Fripp once said, "me and a book is a party; me and a book and a cup of coffee is an orgy"...yeah, what he said! :)
Christ, my brother Steven, who lived his life and faced his death with indomitable faith, Lincoln, Franklin, Frederick Douglass, George Costanza :)
