Karlye Lapetina

Karlye Lapetina is a singer/songwriter from Chicago. Her style of writing has influences all across the board....from Sheryl Crow to AC/DC to the Beatles. Shortly after picking up her guitar, she played out at coffee houses to try her new songs out. Once she conquered that, she was off and running. She put a band together and began rocking audiences all over the city of Chicago, from Joe's Bar on Weed Street, where she opened the front room for Sugarland and Phil Vassar, to the Elbo Room to the House of Blues. She performed live on Chicago's WGN morning show in 2006. She also performed live on the Chicago Thanksgiving Day Parade which was nationally broadcast on ABC and viewed by millions. She has branched out of Chicago to play a run of acoustic shows at the House of Blues/Las Vegas @ Mandalay Bay (May '07), House of Blues/ San Diego (July '07), House of Blues / Myrtle Beach (July '07) and many more to come.
