Well, don't expect to learn TOO much - I'm a lousy writer, with absolutely NO ambition to improve.Born in Aden (South Arabia), (when it was 'British') can't stand hot weather - go figure!Why Playfulhedgehog? Personality-match I guess -(reasonably cheerful, but with a seriously 'prickly' side at times - as my family would confirm, if given a chance. (Which they won't be !) - that and an egotistical need to have a name without a string of numbers after it because I was the 3-millionth person to want to use it!As you can tell from the mouse cursor - The reason for the 'extra baggage' I carry is simple, no it's not Pizza as such, it's the lack of willpower to say NO to foods in general that I KNOW are bad for me!I suffer from depression. (Don't know why I'm telling you - any of you who care, can't help, those of you who don't care, don't care anyway!) Don't know why I have it, I'm happily married with 4 great kids, but there you are, we are what we are, and we have what we have!

My Interests

Travel - mainly through Belgum, Holland and Germany - my family and I have always had a wonderful reception from locals of those countries since we lived in Holland and Germany when my father was stationed there in the 1970's with the british army. One day I intend to make it to the US, but that, for now, is in the permanent 'planning stage' until that elusive Lottery win, or the bills get paid, which ever comes first.

I'd like to meet:

A Texan Wildcat - They live in great family groups, make wonderful parents, and are fiercely loyal as well!

Music:

Anything that makes me REALLY laugh - not much these days. Also, programs with subject matter that makes you think 'WOW' - again, not much these days.

My Wife Laura ,my kids Robert, Ian, Michael and Alexandra,(Not that they're really kids any more!) My Dad, My Mum-in-Law, and family and friends both in the UK and the US - you KNOW who you are!
