Deejay Daine

I am a life long deejay in search of learning new and old aspects of the scene and culture. I have been deejaying since 1992.I started out as a B-Boy break dancing overseas "Pacific B-boy Crew " around 1982 in the Philippines. A bunch of military brats break dancer wanna be's "haha". It was dope seeing all the kids embracing something we saw little of or heard little of. But some how 1000s of miles away we all got hooked. I was a break dancer all through high school. Then after high school I moved from Hawaii to California, and started deejaying in 1992 with a crew called "Prestige Sounds / Cerritos & Bellflower" " WoW so long ago. I learned all about Hip Hop & the culture through these new fiends we all had a lot in common with music. During that time my friends Mark Garcia and Oliver Tan tought me how to deejay!! I deejayed my first real club as a guest DJ at a club called Monopoly's in Riverside,Ca around 1996, Before that I was always doing house parties, schools events and halls. After that I worked with several productions. I have Deejayed in a lot of clubs across California & Nevada, house parties, events, weddings, I have also produced my own weekly events, concerts and much more over the years. Too many I cant remember them all. The Deejay scene has grown so big here in Southern California area over the years. I am just glad I could be there at the right time and be apart of its growth through the years. I Spin Hip Hop R&B,Reggae,House and Trance, 80s, Rock, Ambient...... I am currently working in the IT field. One of my goals is to own and operate my own internet radio station and help people enjoy music in a stimulating and positive way. And help inform and educate society about todays current issues and events that affect all our daily lives.
