About Me

I am a blessed young man. I am happily married to a woman who is beautiful both inside and out. It is my privilege to be the father of two little girls. They are a joy to watch grow up.I believe in being the best person I can in all aspects of my life. I don't believe in perfection, but I do believe in its pursuit. I come from a big close knit family that I am proud to be a part of.

My Interests

Fitness, church, sports, current events, politics, Chicago Bulls basketball, Chicago Bears football.

I'd like to meet:

I would like to catch up with old friends, and, make new friends. Just keep it positive. I am not into unecessary stress, so, no drama queens or kings. I just want to meet positive people that can influence me to be a better person in every aspect of my life.

Music:

Prince, Chrisette Michele, Sweetback, Tye Tribbett, J. Moss, Van Hunt, Maxwell, John Legend, Fred Hammond, Jagged Edge, Sade, Kirk Franklin, Bebe Winans, Dave Hollister, Kindred The Family Soul, Take 6, Lupe Fiasco, Bilal.....these artists are the most played in my iPOD right now.

Movies:

Goodfellas, Coming To America, White Men Can't Jump, Scarface. These are all classics. I recently watched Bobby and I really enjoyed it. Bobby Kennedy and the position the nation was in forty years ago, led me to compare Barack Obama and the state our union is in today to those times depicted in the movie. History really does repeat itself. Hopefully events will not end tragically this time around.

Television:

Law & Order, Seinfeld, CNN, Sportscenter, The 4400, 20/20, Heroes.

Books:

Holy Bible (KJV), Your Best Life Now by Joel Osteen, The Covenant by Tavis Smiley.

Heroes:

My dad. My late uncle and pastor. Every firefighter that responded to 9/11. Every firefighter in the country.

Growing Up

Honesty.  Honest with people has never been a huge issue with me since I have become a real adult.  I am not talking about adulthood because a person turns 18 or 21 (or these days 25 or 30)....
