Nevermind the bullocks... here comes touchess!
First we crawled. Then we managed to stand, and at last we walked. The idea to make music started long before we know what vocal harmonies are all about. We had never imagine we would end up together in a band. And that was in 1997.
Touchess runs by - Haize, Am and Shem. We've made it after elbowing our way for the sake of making music. We dont really know how we managed to get here; magic behind passion perhaps.
Our brand of music? Call it Soul if you like. But by right, our music is a little bit trickier. It encapsulates the feel and mood of old school R&B, Soul and Funk , yet with hints of contemporary taste and local zest. And most importantly, we emphasise on vocal harmony that delivered over colourful, progressive musical landscape.
And we want our music to be able to "speak" by itself thru our positive lyrics. Thats why; you could hear positivism and optimism in our songs.
Recalling those days when we are still babies in this musical industry, we led a humble path. We even bask to share our music (and of course, we still would!). If that very food court is where the audience is, youd see us there.
Alhamdulillah; from staircase to real stage, from busking to performing. And gladly, along the way, we too have learned the basics of harmony, arrangement and production.
So here we are. Our humble presence certainly would not change the course of local music industry but we hope we will add some colours. Hopefully, some stimulating, refreshing colours!
InsyAllah; touch3§ will grow to be one of the best. And hopefully, one day we would have our very own, bona-fide touch3§ sound. InsyAllah.
