About Me

About the Music

Delirium Endeavor is a fusion of progressive metal and jazz focusing on constant development of intensity, moods, and recurring themes. The "endeavor" of the band is to challenge the capabilities of listeners and musicians both creatively and technically.

The Twelfth House, in astrology, is the field of the subconscious mind, of problems stemming from unseen causes and limitations. This area relates to behind-the-scene maneuvering, emotional problems, secrets, deceptions, and problem areas to overcome. This is the house that gets away from the mainstream of life and allows the soul to step back and take a look at the world.

"Twelve Cusp", Delirium Endeavor's second album, is a series of songs that attempt, along with accompanying poems, to capture the essence of the Twelfth House.

Delirium Endeavor's first album, "Flight of the Imagination", is a series of "busy" instrumentals for those indulgent musicians and music listeners who love detail. Various influences of Progressive Metal, Rock, Jazz, and Classical can be found within the music, creating a fusion of the aforementioned genres.

The History of the Band

Delirium Endeavor was originally formed in 1995 under the name Manic and released a demo entitled Recollection of What Never Was....

Manic consisted of Jim Tasikas (six and seven string electric, six and twelve string acoustic, piano, keyboards), Ed Paulsen (five string bass, four sting fretless), and Brian Platino (percussion).

In the summer of 1998, Manic, which had now changed its name to Delirium Endeavor, released its first-full length CD, Flight of the Imagination. The CD featured the original demo tracks re-recorded and mastered.

In the spring of 2000, Brian Platino was replaced with Chris Dembeyiotis.

In 2004, Delirium Endeavor released its second full-length album, entitled Twelve Cusp.
In 2006 after many line-up changes, the band roster is finally complete adding Arie Itman(x-Quo Vadis, Jester) on vocals and Erik Burke(x-Lethargy, x-Kalibas, Sulaco, Lazers) on drums. Look out for the next release titled "Diogenes at Delphi", to be released sometime in 2007.
