About Me

I read too many comics, don't go to enough gigs, like beer, wish I could afford to retire already. Looking forward to all the gigs coming up in the coming months; the monthly Massacre metal nights in Glasgow always have a great line-up

My Interests

I am a comic geek and not afraid to admit it. Aussi j'amie la France, et la langue, mais son a été un temps long puisque j'ai utilisé mon français, donc je plains le grammer très pauvre. J'avai une course en CD, donc quand j'etai le temp, peut-etre mon français améliorera!

I'd like to meet:

Devin Townsend, Slayer, Iron Maiden,

Music:

Metal. Anything Heavy. I grew up listening to Iron Maiden & AC/DC from the age of 4, from there moved on through Guns N Roses to Metallica, before disovering the joys of Sepultura & Machine Head. From there my path took me in several directions; past Nine Inch Nails through The Prodigy and out into dance music while simultaneously stretching out into Black Metal through the likes of Emperor & Old Man's Child; Death metal grew in my heart when I heard Decapitated which lead me to Nile & Cryptopsy; Slayer entered my life. For the brutality, there will ever more be a place in my heart for The Berzerker. Life Changing Albums
Iron Maiden: Iron Maiden
Nine Inch Nails: The Downward Spiral
Old Man's Child: Ill-natured Spiritual Invasion
Machine Head: Burn My Eyes
Decapitated: Winds of Creation
Carcass: Heartwork
Sepultura: Chaos AD
Children of Bodom: Hatebreeder
Strapping Young Lad: City
Opeth: Still Life

Movies:

I'll watch good films from any genre. Some examples of good films I've seen recently, or that are just classics. Star Wars, Infernal Affairs, A Scanner Darkly, Bourne Identity/Supremecy, Sin City, Alien, Aliens, Trainspotting, Pretty much anything by Akira Kurosawa, Chopper, Banlieue 13, Kevin Smiths stuff (Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Jay & Silent Bob, Clerks II)... I'll flesh this out more some other night.

Television:

Sport (any except golf & cricket). Lost (to my fiance's disgust). Naruto. Scrubs. That Mitchell & Webb Thing. Battle Star Galactica. Oban Star Racers

Books:

Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time rocks. Good luck with getting back to health Robert.
