Ivy directed and produced the documentary film "Heir to an Execution" about the legacy of her grandparents, Ethel and Julius Rosenberg. She is the author of several screenplays and has published articles in "The New York Times", "O, the Oprah Magazine". "Premiere", "Nest", "Paper", and "Black Book Magazine".
Ivy spent five years working as a speechwriter and legislative aide for Congressman Harry Johnston, the predecessor to U.S. Congressman Robert Wexler (Dem - FL).
Ivy's newest project is the documentary series "The Hill" which airs on Sundance Channel in August and September. The six-part series peers into the personal and professional lives of Congressman Robert Wexlers (Dem-FL) young, smart and driven staff and offers a rare glimpse into the charged world of congressional politics.
Ivy lives in New York with her husband and son.
