More Music is South Africa’s hottest indie record label and is run by Industry veteran of 15 years, Manuel Oettl, along with digital manager’s Matt Prehn and Matthew Loots.
More Music performs all the functions of a traditional Record label as well as exploring new media routes to keep up with the trends.
I believe that our Live bands and Electronic producers are very very hot, they just have no route to market, I intend to help supply that for them( and vice versa for international artists in our territories). Try us, we are new, but everything starts somewhere!

Our Producers are gaining huge international exposure at the moment : Troydon Murison has seen his label Phonoshuffle Recordings go from strength to strength and there is no sign of letting up! With releases on AROMA, OM, SPATULA CITY, DROP MUSIC, LOWDOWN, BOMBAY and more, it is with great pleasure that More Music will be acting on behalf of the Brooklyn Resident. The label’s 12" distribution will be handled by N.E.W.S world wide.
Local More Artist, Jimmy Chronic’s Lemon drops has been on the rise to with Mark Webb’s mix making it onto CREAM"S 2007 album as well as HARRY "CHOO - CHOO" ROMERO’S Sessions disc.
On the digital front - we have seen numerous releases making it into the top download charts as well as appearing in some rather notorious top 10’s such as Ian Strakes (Lost My Dog), Collette (Om), Deron Delagado (Stompy, Goodfamily) and Tommy Largo (Guesthouse).
