im tobias schwab - and i am radioluxradiolux is somehow a conglomerat of all my musical activities: playing, composing, arranging, teaching in all the different styles from triphop through jazz, rock, classical music to musicals. but its also something beyond all that, something that i cant do anywhere else, because nobody could play it or nobody would even want to listen to it.radiolux is my refugium: here i can do what i want - without respecting any conventions. one should not mix experimental electronics with soppy hollywoodesque melodies? here i can! one should not mix funky preset-beats with modes from messiaen? here i can!i can and i do! maybe bands or projects like radiolux are so often one-man-or-woman-home-studio-frickeling-weirdos because this is the easiest and most effective way for a musician with no borders in his musical horizon to express himself. and when youre living in a real small village in the south of germany, where there is no scene for such music, you simply got no other choice than becoming a loner and producing piece after piece for your computers hard disk.
