Well, I got to meet Jim Heath aka Reverend Horton Heat. He was gracious enough to take a moment after a long hot set to pose for a photo and speak to me and Wayne. This was in Dallas at the Gezellig bar. The band was reverendorgandrum. Band Members Jim "The Rev" Heath, Tim Alexander(Hammond organ), Todd Soesbe(drums) with Jimbo sitting in on bass. What a show! This has always been one of my favorite Elvis tunes, so much so, I even wanted to do a version when I was in a heavy metal group. Now I finally get to do it in the DragStrip Phantoms. This is from King Creole. Probably the best movie Elvis ever made. You'll even see Walter Matthau in a scene here. Check it out.

Failure!

Well, if you actually read these things you see that I have taken down my request for help to quit smoking. I'v been smoking like a freight train and there is no sense in kidding myself. Hopefully God...
